Pretty good flavored food but a bit salty. What was presented was nothing like in the picture. There was no Ramen noodles, sausage, nor beans for budae- jengore as traditional dish would have. Price for 1 person was $14.99 but for 2 was $41.92 with tax. That's about 30% tax. The pancake was huge. Again, there was about 12% tax added compare to required state tax of 8.25%.

My wife and I found this spot by chance. To date it is the only Korean place in Houston where we have found Buda Jigaeb(Army Stew). I can't say it was groundbreaking, but it was pretty darn good. Obviously there is room for varience in how the dish is made and it was not quite the same as Nolboo in Korea. The seafood/vegetable pancake was great. It was well cooked and a bit thicker than other places serve. It seemed more like a dish from home. The only people working were 3 older Korean ladies, so you know it was authentic as much as possible. The kimchi was fresh and all the banchan were good. The place itself was clean and we'll kept. My only complaint was that some of the pricing seemed different from the menu. My wife is Korean though and everything was explained to her satisfaction, so I figured it was all good. Definitely worth a visit.

Mom and pop type of establishment, so expect a little language barrier with slow service, but good delicious quality food.Everything we had was pretty solid, from the seafood pancake to soups, meats and dumplings.Would I go out my way for this hole in the wall? Maybe if I craved it enough.

For a korean restaurant was expecting some free coffee at the end of the meal (as in Korea) but they didn't have. The food was excellent.

Not busy at all yet wait staff were slow and did not check to see how we were doing. So many great Korean restaurants nearby.

Staff was very friendly here! They made the food fresh and it was really delicious! I had the kalbi tong. The soup tasted great and also the meat was really tender! Very pleased with my experience here and will definitely be back in the future!

Food is pretty good, but has gone downhill with new ownership in last few years.

Absolutely delicious!! I can't say enough to express how tasty the food is! Very well made and very pretty to look at which is always a pleasure! I wish I had taken a picture but the food was too good to wait on! We had the pan fried dumplings to start, phenomenal. Then we had a spicy goat soup and milky beef soup that came with quite a few sides; spinach, kimchi, bean sprouts, spicy cucumber, and fish cake. Each soup came with a dark purple rice! 5/5 outstanding!

If you’re looking for some good Korean food with real taste you need to try this place. I had the mando guk (만두국) and my wife had the son dooboo jjigae (순두부 지개). This was by far the best I’ve had and I’ve tried so many places between Portland Oregon to Mississippi. Give this place a shot you won’t regret it. ?

Houston has a lot of Korean options, and this is a good one. The two ladies who are always in the place are fun to watch as they gossip and view their favorite Korean talk shows. I think that is their primary purpose and serving the customer comes second, but the food is great and they are fun!
