1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.

The food is always outstanding, cocktails always exceptional, and service always top notch. If Heather is your server, lucky you!! Sadly it's really tough to get a reservation, but they reserve the bar seating for walk-ins, so you can always try getting there early and testing your luck. If you see Parmesan cheesecake on the menu, do yourself a favor and order it! And the burger really is one of the best ever!

It took us almost 2 years to get to dinner here and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Our server Heather was amazing at helping us make food decisions and drink choices. We sat on the patio and it was beautiful weather! Before dinner drinks the tire swing and the slow jam were perfect drinks for outside, refreshing and cool! We had the dumplings and the Nancy cakes to start, dumplings were our FAVORITE!! We also got the cucumber salad as well. The old fashioned has a beautiful Cinamon taste that I adore and our wines with the chicken and chili jus was great! The skin was perfect and seasoned very well and the chicken itself was juicy! The sauce was top tier! We loved this place and it was worth the wait! Bon Apetite! Well deserving of the James Beard Award! Keep up the great work!

Top shelf meal. from cocktails to dessert and everything in between, it was an excellent dining experience. Kind of ran the menu between the two of us which drove the bill up to a rather heightened level. Was not disappointed and still think about what we enjoyed. Would return and recommend without an ounce of hesitation.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal and so unique. The combinations of flavors are unlike anything else in the city. We have our favorites that we get every time (the Nancy cakes and burgers are a must) but I love the creative seasonal items and always find something new to try. The level of attention and service make it a great experience every time. This remains my favorite restaurant in Houston.

I just want to say, Daniel (bartender) help me remember why the service industry is important and needed, after a hard day is crazy how somebody that I don’t know anything about made my day finish on a great experience, I even forgot why my day was so hard, This is the feelings that I will be always thankful for and Daniel never fails to deliver.
Fantastic place for some new American dining. Enough variety to share and try a good amount of different foods. Best with friends and on an empty stomach
A Whimsical heavenly eclectic smack you in the face incredible culinary ride. We cannot wait to come back. Finally something worth driving to Houston!
