Such a unique & delicious sandwich. The pickled papaya is a game changer, the sandwich is light & balanced. I appreciate all the little details. like how even the top of the banh was toasted.

One of the best sandwiches out there! Don’t let the picture fool you—the portion is huge and packed with toppings. Definitely try the classic Cambodian; it’s absolutely chef’s kiss. The owner was kind enough and let me try some milky coconut pandan while waiting for my orders, and a member of their family even shared some beef chips with me. Will definitely come back!

Just finished the Classic Beef Sandwich and Braise Both Belly Sandwich. That was DELICIOUS! The sandwich size, the topping, and the meat worth $10 - $12 for a sandwich like this. Richy, tasty, and worthy are what best describes for the food plus the service. I have been having good food around Houston, but never really leave a good review on the Internet like this. I got to recommend this restaurant right after a first bite. Highly recommended! Best wishes to the business as well as the owner.

Got the classic beef and I really think it’s the best Banh Mi I’ve ever eaten. It was a life-changing sandwich. I’m currently basking in the glow of my post meal satisfaction and honestly I’m a little sad the experience is over….ill just have to get another one! 11/10 will eat again!!

I got the Sausages delivered and was not satisfied. My mother is Cambodian and I grew up eating these tasty sausages. I ordered a pack of spicy and regular. The spicy one shriveled up to almost nothing after following directions on how to cook it.Flavor was lacking and they had random punches of sweetness and had the texture of Ekrich Sausages. It did come quickly as promised. I would not get it again.

Wow!!! I had never had Cambodian/Khmer cuisine before and I was in for a treat! I came for the sandwiches. As a long time bánh mì lover, I knew these Cambodian sandwiches would be in for some stiff competition. I was blown away with how good they were. I ordered the :
Classic Cambodian Beef Sandwich with charbroiled marinated beef, kroeng fillings, cucumber, jalapeño,cilantro, fresh pickled papaya and carrots.
Braised Pork Belly Sandwich with Chinese 5 spice infused wine braised pork belly and black pepper corns, cucumber, fresh pickled papaya, carrots, soy glazed and crusted peanuts.
Topped with fried quail eggs! Yoooooo!!!!
These sandwiches were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
They were packed with an authentic smokey flavor that cannot be faked. This is the real thing! I also ordered the beef skewers which were good enough to make you wanna slap your ex twice!
I also sampled the Chinese 5 spice, Slap Ya Ex and Spicy Habanero Mango Michelada Beef Chips and took a bag of each home along with a Twa Ko Smoked Cambodian Beef Stick, Smoked Jalapeño Pepper Cheddar Pork Stick, Frozen Tea Ko Cambodian sausage and a jar of Prohok Ktis. I can’t wait to try those at home.
Chef Narak was very kind along with being a great chef. She talked about her business and her passion for cooking and sharing Cambodian cuisine is evident.
If you haven’t visited Narak’s Kitchen yet, slap yourself. 😂. Then go get some of the best Cambodian food in Houston!!!

I saw that Narak's Kitchen has a new takeout menu now and immediately I was intrigued by Cambodian sandwiches! I've never heard of the concept before and the video of them I saw on social media almost made my mouth water. I was able to try their sausage sandwich and their classic beef one too.
Both were a flavor bomb of spices and great crunchy textures. I think my winner though is the beef one. The meat was so tender and the lemongrass flavor really came through. I absolutely loved the addition of pickled papaya and carrots.
The bread was very fresh and good quality too! If you like Vietnamese banh mi, you are sure to like the sandwiches here as well!
Narak's Kitchen also sells items such as Cambodian sausage packs and beef jerky. I got to sample some of the jerky and there were so many different flavors and textures! I think my favorite was the Chinese five spice. The owner is also incredibly friendly and was telling us her cooking background and why she decided to start the business. I think she's really struck gold with these sandwiches though and I hope more Houstonians will be able to try them soon!

I like supporting small businesses and I do that daily but I am disappointed on my transactions with this company. I’ve placed my order on Thursday April 4th, since it is a perishable food item, I was thinking even before placing an order that my items will be shipped next day, or in a timely manner but I have to wait until the following Monday because they emailed back with excuses that they had other things to do. I’ve check again as per their last email and still there was no update on shipment but just a label being created. Finally Tuesday April 9th; there was an update that items will be delivered by Friday, April 12th and I’ve never received my items and per tracking number there was a delay and no update. I've then email again on the status and mainly on how the food items were packed ( dry ice?!) as I was concern on receiving my order that could be spoil since my items were sent late and it is also a food item that could get me sick. They responded with no concern. It is now, April 15th, I still have not recieved my items nor update, I’ve emailed for a refund with no respond. I will not order from this place again.
