Unforgettable and intimate experience, easily a 10/10. It’s a dinner curated for the guest - from the way they greet you and your guest by name when you walk in, the conversations the chefs have with you as they’re preparing your sushi, etc., this dinner was money well spent.

More hype than true quality!
Great flavors!
Overpriced for what you get
20% automatic gratuity is wrong.
Service was wonderful! But you should decide how much!

Cancelled our reservation two hours before the meal was supposed to begin. Offered nothing for the last minute cancellation on a holiday, and merely said to call the next day to reschedule. Trying to book another omakase after 7:00pm was obviously impossible on such short notice.

A Fancy Night Out… But Just Once

If you’re looking for a quiet, almost whisper-level dinner spot with unlimited sake and wine (yes, unlimited—but you don’t get to pick), this omakase experience might be your jam. Just don’t show up too early unless you enjoy standing awkwardly outside like you’re trying to sneak into a club that only opens 15 minutes before the show.

There are only 10 seats total, so it feels exclusive—like you’re part of a secret sushi society. The atmosphere is very quiet. Like, “you can hear your chopsticks think” kind of quiet. If you’re into zen vibes and hushed conversation, you’ll love it. If you’re looking for a party vibe… this ain’t it.

We were celebrating our anniversary (other couples were there for birthdays), and while they did ask about special occasions, nothing actually happened after that. No candle, no “Happy Anniversary” scribbled in miso, not even an extra piece of fish. It’s fine—we weren’t expecting fireworks, but a little something would’ve been nice.

The food? Delicious. Truly. You can tell each piece was prepared with care, and some bites were borderline spiritual. That said, for the price… it’s probably a one-and-done kind of deal for us. Glad we tried it, wouldn’t rush back.

Bonus tip: Limited parking right in front, so plan ahead or practice your parallel parking skills.

I wouldn't change a single part of this experience, from the entrance to the food to the drinks. I loved being able to interact with the other guests there and learn about the food together. Shout-out to Jackie for the meal, Chef Jacobo (Hokobo?) and Chef Ben, as well as the servers. Truly the best meal I've ever had. 10/10 🔥🔥🔥

Hands down best omakase experience in Houston and beyond. Went for Mother’s Day and was treated to an amazing array of items. Been there four times over the years and never had the same item twice. Tonight the chefs, Mindy and crew exceeded expectations as always. Can’t wait to come back.

We had high expectations for this place after reading so many good reviews on different platforms. However after trying it out we would not be coming back.
Number one reason is because everything is too heavily seasoned. I meant everything from sushi rice to hot dishes. The sushi rice has way too much vinegar taste that it was hard for me to actually taste the flavor of the fish. The non nigiri dishes were very salty as well, the mini don, risotto, miso soup, all of them.
The three stars are mainly for the quality of the ingredients themselves and how the chefs decided to present them in a dish.
We liked the ice cream but the molten cake was wayyyyyy too sweet I only took one bite. Donut glaze over molten cake is honestly a bad idea given both components are quite heavy.
We added extra caviar and banana ice cream, but turns out it was very disappointing.
Atmosphere was unique and different than what we’ve been to before so 5 stars for that.
I didn’t like the way their waitresses made me feel. Somehow they gave me a cold feeling, and chatted overly with the lady who sat next to me so I was kinda bothered by the volume of their talking the whole time. And everything felt kinda rushed. They reached out to us beforehand to confirm allergies and special occasions, but nothing really special was done about it. (It was my husbands birthday and we just welcomed our newborn)
Overall I considered this a failed experience that I would rather spend $600 somewhere else.

The absolute best omakase experience in Houston. Food is unique and delicious. They have rotating seasonal ingredients and know what they’re doing with them. Drinks are paired well. The staff is fast, attentive, and knowledgeable. Just overall the best sushi experience in Houston.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat out. I've been here several times a year since they opened. And it is always amazing. This time was no different.

I always have to try every new omakase in Houston even if no longer live there. I took my mom here, and we both enjoyed it very much. Service was great, the atmosphere was different being in a clothing store and random neighborhood, but the food was really good. Very fresh, unique, and the chefs were well knowledgeable and professional. Even got a tour in the back to see the aged fish!
