If there is a place that exemplifies a true 5-star dining experience in Houston, it is undoubtedly Le Café Josephine. Over the years, this establishment has proven itself as a bastion of culinary delights, capturing the essence of a French bistro with an array of delectable offerings. From decadent French pastries that melt in your mouth to the savory satisfaction of perfectly crafted breakfasts and sandwiches, Le Café Josephine never ceases to amaze. The Capri sandwich is a testament to their dedication to freshness and flavor. The harmonious blend of homemade pesto paired with sumptuously fresh mozzarella nestled between crispy, warm French bread makes for a sandwich that is nothing short of spectacular. It’s a symphony of textures and tastes that encapsulates the care put into every meal.On the other side of the table, my partner’s choice – the omelette – is a visual and gustatory delight. Served with a side of golden, aromatic breakfast potatoes and a fresh salad, the omelette is cooked to perfection. It's soft, tender, and brimming with fresh ingredients that speak to the quality of the produce used at Le Café Josephine. It’s a place that feels like a warm embrace, a celebration of fine food that’s both healthy and delicious, suitable for any time of day. The women who own and operate Le Café Josephine are the heart and soul of the cafe, delivering a consistent experience that outshines the conventional 5-star rating, deserving an extraordinary 6 out of 5 stars. Moreover, the value is unmatched. The portions are generous, the ingredients premium, and the atmosphere – utterly inviting. To dine at Le Café Josephine is to treat oneself to a meal that’s both comforting and luxurious. With each visit, the memories we create are as rich and satisfying as the cuisine itself. In a city that's bustling with dining options, Le Café Josephine stands out as a beacon of impeccable taste and quality. I am always eager to return, knowing that what awaits is not just a meal, but an experience that will linger on the palate and in the heart.

Though they serve a nice selection of food, I’m adding this place to my Houston coffee shop tour list. This is #71. But I would rank it in the top 10.

Cute place. I paid $14 for the most flavorless turkey sandwich I have ever had...good baguette .

We tried this place because so many good reviews. We had an omelette and an avocado toast. Both were just okay but nothing we would come back for. The ambience is clean but again, nothing impressive or unique. The service was fine but more transactional than engaging or personable. I am reluctant to comment negatively on a business that is fine but want to share my experience so others may not be disappointed if they are thinking this cafe will be outstanding.

I had come before. I like the place, the food is delicious... And there is variety...Vegetarian options: Just some vegan dishes. But I liked mineParking: There are only about 10 parking spaces... The street is your best option.Since it is a very small place.

Nice place for a quick bite to eat its a plus that they are halal. Recommend the creme brûlée latte but ask them to tone down the sweetness.

Great local café with really good food! I enjoyed a chicken baguette and a crème brûlée latte, both of which were delicious! Place is beautifully decorated and has a relaxed environment. Will definitely be back!
