While a bit loud, great atmosphere, friendly patrons, can't beat the daily 6$ cocktails - prepared just as meticulously as the mainstays. And dog friendly! You can take your dog inside the bar area and even have them sit on a bar stool ? Food I believe is from Delray Cafe inside - onion rings were very salty, while the fish sandwich was very good. They will make a puppy patty 3$ for your dog. They also have an outside covered side patio.
WOW this was one of the best bars I have ever been to anywhere. Very cool vibe with a distnictly transformative identity. Inventive cocktails although you will politely get corrected that they are NOT cocktails BUT mixed drinks. They are actually cocktails and not mixed drinks BUT that is besides the point. Delicious and straightforward bar food, burgers, hot dogs, a riff on the McRib, fries and tots all were delicious....

Nickel City a fun local bar makes you feel like it's an old dive bar. Reasonable prices and solid bar food. We had frozen Irish coffee, patty melt, grilled cheese, a slider (Texas Sized but not the Texas I'm from) Bacon Egg and Cheese, curds, fries and rings. Food came out randomly so not everyone could eat at the same time. Needs a little improvement, but a nice addition to the places in Eado. It made us want an ice cream place on this side of downtown for dessert.
