Our family wanted to have dinner together. In total we had 12 people. The hosts decided to put us in a party room with 2 additional groups of about 8 people each. 1 group of ladies were really obnoxious and extremely loud. 2 hours of screaming, trying to talk over their noise to person right across from you was ridiculous. If we ever go back, moving us to a community party room will be a deal breaker and I would rather hit up a fast food joint. The waitresses and hosts were great. The food was on point. We didn't go thirsty and chips with Sala were endless. A great night sucked because of some teachers that acted like 1st graders.

Ninfa’s Mex Restaurant is truly a Houston gem! It definitely has its on and off days like any spot, but honestly, it’s almost always so good. The service is always on point and the management is amazing — he remembers all the locals and treats everyone like family. Super welcoming every single time.
The food? 🔥 My absolute favorite is the Tacos a la Ninfa with chicken fajita… OMG. And don’t even get me started on the chile con queso with flour-tortilla chips — OMMMGMG, addictive!

This was my first time trying Tex-Mex, and while the staff was welcoming, attentive, and provided great service, a few serious issues left me disappointed. I needed to use the restroom upon arrival, and to my disgust, the men’s room was filthy. There were large puddles of urine on the floor in front of both urinals, and the entire space reeked of piss. The sinks were equally nasty. It was one of the worst public restrooms I’ve ever encountered—on par with a nightclub bathroom at closing time. That experience instantly killed my appetite and made me hesitant to order. My other major complaint was the complete lack of heat in the peppers. The fresh jalapeños and chiles had zero spice—like eating mild Mt. Olive jarred jalapeños. For a Tex-Mex restaurant, that was bizarre and disappointing. Cleanliness and authentic flavor are non-negotiable.

Ate here last night. My #1 spot for fajitas was closing early (see my other reviews) so I tried this place. I haven't been here in probably close to 30 years. I had tacos al Carbon and it came with a little cup of queso ...😍😍 The good kind too. It was the perfect compliment to my taco , sign a touch of their red salsa .. It's good y'all ... It's good..... I chose refried beans and , whild they weren't the best I've had , they were pretty good. I've had better beans at a hole in the wall restaurants. 🤷🏼♂️ The service was really good. My waiter was pretty attentive, even while busy. Always had a full glass of sweet tea. OMG the sweet tea ! It's really good . I think I had about 5 glasses.... 😁 And one to go...🤣 The booth they at me in would be perfect for a date night. Soft table light . Warm and cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back. I want to try other menu items. What I saw being served at other tables looked absolutely delicious... I need to see for myself....🤓
