We went for my daughter’s birthday. When we got there, the staff was warm and friendly getting us seated. They were prompt in sharing menus and filling our water. Our waitress stopped by and said she would give us a minute to settle in. From there, we just sat. No one took our drink order. When we did order, we ordered apps and drinks first. Our apps showed up before our cocktails and wine. There was no acknowledgment that we were waiting for almost 30 minutes for drinks. I was excited to pair my wine with the apps we ordered. That didn’t happen. Apparently there were staffing issues, which wasnt shared until we had to flag our waitress. It would have been helpful if our drink order was taken timing and if they shared they had some issues when we were able to order. Overall, we regret our decision to try the restaurant despite the interesting and fun menu.

Food tastes different but in a good way. They have not many choices for appetizers and entrees but they are all very deliciously different in taste from traditional food.

This place was very cozy to be inside and had a great selection of interesting dishes. I am excited to come back and see what else they have to offer. We ordered the spinach dip, gnocchi, the broccoli and the churro pie. The dip was exactly how you want a spinach dip to taste and very cheesy (in a good way). The curry gnocchi was creamy, spicy, and very flavorful but not overpowering. The broccoli was pretty unique and it was the absolute favorite. The pie was exceptional and not overly sweet. Overall great place for any occasion. The olive oil cake is a must try and so are their pies!

Amazing menu that gives you something new each time
This restaurant was high on my list of places to check out in Houston. We pretty much ordered the entire menu and only loved one thing, the carrots. The bread was good, not great. I also ordered three desserts. They were disappointing. Olive oil cake was the best of the 3.

Fantastic flavor and service however such small portion on an entree its borders on slightly rude … waited 20mins for a meal I finished in 5mins and was still super hungry after a looong day. Super disappointed for no logical reason.

Food and drinks were amazing. Texas tartare is very tasty, and the drinks were excellently balanced. It was Valentine's so it got very busy. The only thing I did not enjoy was that the music kept getting louder and louder
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant was a house so the space is limited. Probably not the best for you g kids inside but they have a patio.

Never got to the food. Loud music “is their thing”. Dont like loud music, then leave. Goodbye.

This is a pretentious little place. The drinks and food are ridiculously overpriced. Portions are quite small. I spent well over $100 for what was essentially two mixed drinks and two main dishes that were the size of appetizers. The waiter recommended that I order "at least 4-5 main dishes to enjoy the experience of the restaurant."
Went to this place because it was well ranked and showed up in the new Michelin guide. Our experience was as follows:
Good kitchen with good service and a cool concept. However, our evening was severely tarnished by our server who told us that almost half of the menu was unavailable. Unfortunately for us, almost everything we wanted to order was unavailable. We were left ordering things we weren't really in the mood for, and that were sub-par when they arrived.
I feel the menu, although good looking, made the kitchen work too much and left the later reservations without meals they wanted to order.
Worse of all, they told us that they DID have the things we wanted, they were just reserved for an event the following day.
Overall, we had a nice evening, but were really disappointed in the lack of availability to HALF of the menu. A Michelin recommended restaurant shouldn't have these mistakes.

I've heard fantastic reviews of Nobie's so I was excited when I finally got to dine in!
My brother and I didn't have reservations, but we were lucky enough to snag a high top table right upon them opening at 5pm. The parking lot out back was very tiny however we were able to grab the last spot.
We got a variety of dishes to share:
- Dilly Bread - a must! So warm and pillowy soft!
- Pretty Fly for a Fungi - so crispy yet light, and tastes amazing with their homemade buttermilk ranch and homemade hot sauce.
- The Carroty Kid - my favorite! I'd come back again and again to have this hearty veggie dish.
- 365 Potato Girl - this dish works so well and idk why no one else has ever made a baked potato gnocchi. Loved how soft it was!
- Olive Oil Cake - a must! It wasn't overly sweet and we raved over that sugar crust!
- Black Bottom Salted Caramel Pie - also a must! We came to Nobies based on their pie reputation and they didn't disappoint. We adored this sweet/salty combo and the whipped cream was a such a delightful way to cut through the sweetness.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and the staff always kept our waters filled and table clean. Honestly if I lived nearby, I'd come at least once a week. Cheers to one of my new favorite Htown restaurants!
