Best pizza in Houston! Drove from Mont Belvieu to try, will make the drive to try more. Excellent prices and atmosphere.

Another case of terrible hiring and management. Service and food was good until a staff member yelled, yes yelled, at my 5 year old to sit down in our booth. I was sitting right there next to him. I was shocked at his tone and took a moment to calibrate what just happened. I looked at the man and eyed him to come speak to me, I explained to him that in the future he needs to speak to the parent if their child is doing something requiring direction. He was extremely condescending and rude in his response, questioning why he should have to do that. I explained that he cannot discipline other people’s children and to just let the parent know next time. He said an extremely passive aggressive “ok”. I then asked him what his problem was and he said he didn’t have one, I must. I then asked his name and role to which I was stunned to learn he is the general manager, Ronald. I asked other staff about him and learned that he “doesn’t like kids”. Well Ronald, this is a kid friendly restaurant, so might be time to find another gig. We are long time patrons of next door toasted coconut by the same owner who love on our kids and always go out of their way to create a great experience. Nonno’s
would be wise to axe Ronald and have the GM of Toasted Coconut hire his replacement. We won’t be back to Nonnas until Ronald is gone and neither should anyone with kids.

Great place, cool atmosphere, really nice staff, good music, many handmade options

(I never write reviews so super bummed about this)

Customer satisfaction is important, especially when you're hosting an event and unfortunately, this place fell short. We chose it to celebrate a birthday after hearing great reviews, but overall, it was a bit underwhelming. The pizza was OK, but nothing standout but the music was good!

If you're planning a birthday celebration, just know there’s a $3 per person fee for bringing in outside dessert, plus a cake-cutting fee, none of which was mentioned anywhere online. A simple heads-up about this policy (seriously, add it to your website) would’ve made a big difference!!! They let us leave the cake on the table, but we weren’t allowed to cut into it… LOL.

Communication was a major letdown, there’s no listed phone number and I never received a reply to emails leading up to our company event. Not ideal when you're trying to plan for a group.

We might consider coming back for future company happy hours, but it left a bad impression.

If you want more than just pepperoni pizza, try this place-they have toppings you wouldn’t even think of-and they all taste great! Plus they have a few games to keep you entertained while waiting for your food!

The food was absolutely outstanding—no complaints there. However, the service we received was incredibly disappointing and took away from what was meant to be a special occasion.

Throughout our entire dinner, our server never once checked on our table. We had to flag down other staff members just to place orders and get basic assistance. To make matters worse, when it came time to tip (we still gave 20%, which I believe is more than fair), the server responded with visible attitude and ungratefulness.

This dinner was meant to be a celebration for my birthday, and instead, we left feeling disrespected and unappreciated as paying customers. For a $200 meal, I expected a much higher standard of service. I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues so that future guests don’t have a similar experience

The Thumbs Critic

? The staff was polite during my brief interaction.
? I appreciated the convenience of the walk-up window for order pickups.
? My online order was ready right when I arrived, which was great.
? Unfortunately, the pizza itself wasn’t impressive. The overall flavor reminded me of a frozen pizza from a grocery store, though the Italian sausage added a nice texture.
? I did like how crispy the thin crust was compared to other pizza places.
? However, the quality and size of the pizza did not justify the price—over $30 for just one thin-crust pizza.
? Additionally, the restaurant significantly increases prices for online orders compared to their in-store menu (pictured). Prices also vary across different ordering platforms. While the differences likely account for service fees, some of these markups seem excessive.
