Just hit up Northern Pasta in Houston’s Chinatown for the first time, and I’m giving it a solid 4/5 stars! The hand-pulled noodles were straight-up amazingly chewy, fresh, and served piping hot. We ordered Rou Jia Mo and right way I know it is right. We loved it. The flavor of pig ears appetizer was good but the texture was a little bit hard to chew. The lamb soup was good too. Satisfied with the simple meal.

I visited on Juneteenth Saturday (June 21) and arrived at 9:50 a.m. It took 15 minutes just to place my order, and another 25 minutes before my food was served. There were only two staff working—one managing the front and prepping delivery orders, and one serving the dining area.
The restaurant seems seriously understaffed during peak hours, and the service flow could use improvement....
