I wanted to get a donut cake for a birthday party. I came strolling into Ms. Myrtle’s right under 3 day minimum cut off. The super amazing Kendra looked at me and let me know I’m lucky I came in. She took mercy on me and let me order the cake. Even gave me a Juneteenth discount.

Fast forward a few days later, I had a beautiful donut cake. The birthday girl and guests loved it! I’m such a fan of wonderful customer service. Even a bigger fan of wonderful customer service with delicious cake to back it up!

My aunt got this made for my grad dinner. Cake was very delicious and soft. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about it!

Ms. Myrtle’s Bakery brought my VCR cake to life for my 30th Birthday ’90s Bash. It was a huge hit amongst all of my guests. It completed the look of the dessert table and tasted great. They suggested that we go with Heavenly Butter for the cake and they were definitely right. This was our second time ordering a custom cake from Ms. Myrtle’s and I’m sure it won’t be our last! Thank you again for helping make my 30th birthday celebration a Blockbuster hit!

My husband had a friend recommend Ms. Myrtle's Billionaire Pound cake. We found out they were right! It's wonderful! But the Heavenly Butter and Butter Cream is divine!

I’ve been coming to Ms. Myrtle’s Bakery (formerly known as Not Jus’ Donuts) for over 15 years, and I can honestly say the quality has never changed. It’s still just as amazing as the first time I walked in. The service is always warm, welcoming, and top tier! Their cakes are consistently moist and flavorful, and the peach cobbler is always a hit. But my personal favorite is the German chocolate cake. It’s rich, perfectly balanced, and hands down the best I’ve ever had. No matter how much time passes, this place continues to deliver every single time. You should pickup a sweet treat “just because” because they have plenty of options for your taste buds 😋

I recently had a birthday cake made for my mom’s 70th surprise birthday dinner and this bakery did NOT disappoint! My first encounter with the bakery, Kendra was personable, kind, and helpful with providing me the necessary information that I needed to place an order. She suggested a flavor for the cake, which I wasn’t familiar and offered to make a mini Bundt cake for me to try. After the first bite, I was sold. The design of the cake was over the top and gorgeous. The cake designer did his thing. It was better than the inspiration picture I provided. Please thank him again for me! Onto the dinner party, I got so many compliments about the presentation and taste, which I provided everyone with the info. Thank you for being apart of a very special occasion! I will definitely be coming back for more.

This place has the best desserts and everyday treats, if you just want some cookies regular or vegan, or just a slice of good ole homemade cake. I’ve been a customer since around 2009 if not longer and I’m always completely satisfied.. I love the specialties of designer cakes and cupcakes.
I love the welcoming atmosphere period.. Everything is always great and I love that they also, do fruit baskets .. One can never go wrong with whatever you order ..

They've always come through with high quality custom cakes when we've called, whether weeks in advance or days. They came through in the clutch for my wife's birthday recently. My company ordered from Ms. Myrtle's for a company event and I tried the Peach Cobbler and the the Sweet Potato Pecan Pie from the selection they ordered and they were both so delicious I had to find out where they were from so I can go get some for myself!

Disappointed in the cake I received for my mother's 85th Birthday!
Not only was it not decorated to include gold drips, with the provided Gold Happy Birthday topper, it was CLEARLY several days old!
Now I know why they didn't charge the extra $10, as agreed. I wish they had been forthcoming so I would not be surprised at the party. When the Ruth Chris waitstaff brought in what was supposed to be a presentation cake, the inexpensive gold flower was the BIG surprise.

FABULOUS BUNDT CAKES, frosted pound cakes and pecan pie. Winners across the board. And it its such a pleasure to see the nice folks. I was remembered from 6 weeks ago.

Lady who answers the phone has an attitude. Cake tastes like it was made from cake mix that came from a box .This cake was horrible, dry, dense and tasted old. Got this for my son's birthday and none of us finished the first slice. Expensive cake thrown in trash, had to get him another cake at the last minute which I got from HEB and tasted 10 times better. Never again!
