09/04/2022: I reviewed this establishment a couple of weeks ago and, since then, I've repeat ordered their well-seasoned birria beef & Mac and cheese dish (it definitely hits the spot).Recently, I've had an issue with UberEATS (my order wasn't delivered) and had to reorder again from the restaurant. As you might expect, I was not very happy about this. However, I placed the order again. Almost immediately, I received a call from the restaurant, just wanting to confirm that the reorder wasn't a mistake. Instead of just taking the money (that they would've gotten from the order), they took the time to call and double-check to ensure that it wasn't a mistake.Now, I know this will sound strange, but that act of thoughtfulness made me smile and almost forget how annoyed I was that I had to wait another 40-50 mins (UE time estimation) for the order. That small act speaks volumes about the level of integrity and character of those working at this establishment.I was a fan before, but now I'm definitely a super fan! Can't wait to get my order. Thank you, Ocean Twist!08/08/2022: I didn't know what to expect when I ordered from this place, but I love anything with beef and their birria beef was speaking to me through the photos.I looked through their menu and ruminated between their birria beef bowl (a sort of stewed shredded slow-marinated beef with a choice of a side (yellow rice or fries) and plantain), their j*** chicken tacos, elote (fried) avocado, and their Mac and cheese.I chose the birria beef bowl and an order of mac and cheese. I thought the portions would be small but they were decent. They were sizeable enough for me to have done for dinner with enough leftovers for tomorrow.When I say that beef touched my soul (lawdee). It really took me back to some of the meals I had back home. I'd definitely coin this as comfort food. The beef was soft and tasty and paired very well with the rice. I even added some to the mac and cheese and made a delectable secondary dish.I'm very pleased with both dishes and am very excited to get into my leftovers tomorrow. I definitely recommend this spot and look forward to trying out some of their other items.

I am in love with their birria beef Mac and cheese dish (touches my soul) and the birria beef bowl (hits the spot). I'm also really impressed with their customer service (10/10). My experiences have been very positive and they've proven to be thoughtful and customer-centered.

If you’re into Jamaican food with a TWIST, you need to try Ocean’s Twist! Currently at Blodgett hall as a ghost kitchen, this Caribbean Fusion restaurant has delicious and bold Jamaican?? flavors with some Tex-Mex and also features other items such as Birria beef Mac and cheese and avocado elote! Check out their j*** chicken bowls and tacos as well. This was one of the most unique foodie experiences we have had in Houston due to the variety of different flavors.

The food was so good!! I felt like i got a piece of home. I can finally get food that mixes everything i like. D*** tasty! Made me wanna slap my momma! Egg rolls was chefs kiss! A must try restaurant. 10/10 recommend!

Firrree! J*** Chicken chilli oil noodles was an amazing dish. It's full of flavor & lots of heat! Would order again but with less chilli oil...my tastebuds couldn't take the heat.

This food sooooo damn good. My mouth watered once I saw it and then the taste was even better than I thought. Whoever the chef is must be going places. If I’m ever in Houston again I’m always going to order from them
