The xiao long bao is good but not amazing. Scallion beef was delicious, and so was the scallion pancake. Service was very good, nice sweet ladies.One thing to note, the server will ask for 20% tip. We didn’t mind giving that because 20% is becoming the new standard and the service was good. But this may rub people the wrong way.
I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant for several reasons:Despite having filled out the sign-in sheet, we were asked to wait and let others who arrived later go ahead of us. We had to wait for 20 minutes before we could place our order, and the waitress took orders from those who arrived after us first.Throughout the entire process, there was a lack of service, but despite this, the waitress insisted on a 20% tip. We opted to give 15%, and the waitress demanded the full 20%, citing the approaching new year. I did not enjoy the dining experience at this restaurant. There are many other places with better food, reasonable prices, and superior service. I do not plan to return in the future.

The food is beyond delicious! Soup dumplings are AMAZING! The crisp bottom ones were PERFECT! I love the portions and kindness of the workers, the atmosphere however is not so pleasant. I have anxiety, and there’s A LOT of elders eating here that will stare at you watching u eat and watching ur hand to see how u use chopsticks cause u don’t get utensils there. It was a little uncomfortable but our waiters kindness will calm me down a little bit. Depending how full it is, u will feel in a rush cause it is a small restaurant and it’s very popular so the tables fill in fast. I love this place, but next time I will ask take out to enjoy the food 100%
Best meal I’ve eaten in a long time. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and my wife and I are planning on coming back ASAP. The crispy duck and snow peas were amazing.

Soup dumplings were legit. Try them out if you like those things, you won't be disappointed. I went in on a weekday and was the only one in there- the staff was cool and the place was really clean. No frills just delicious food. Oh I had the shumai too, it was good but more rice than I wanted. I still ate them all cause I was hungry.
we were lucky to miss the lunch rush here and didn't have to wait.. we were both so impressed with everything we got, the shrimp and pork soup dumplings were just phenomenal and the braised beef noodle soup was right up there.. they recommended the pork belly and it was amazing too.. super authentic, staff was great.. overall 10 out of 10

Food...so good. Service...very curt. Soup dumplings have a ton of soup (though I wish it had more filling), noodle soups are flavorful and cooked well, but the star on our table was the pan fried baos. It's incredibly difficult to find a place with juicy baos that are still crispy at the bottom but also not too thick - these were perfect. Deal with the service so you can experience authentic delicious Shanghai food.
Worth the trip to Chinatown!
