Great food, good service and a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. This is one of my go to locations in Houston. Quality food fair prices….you don’t want to be the last one to hear about this place.

We were not greeted to give us the run down since it was our first visit. The toast was terrible, bacon was overcooked/burnt, and very dark inside the establishment. I'm sure I won't visit again.

Onion creek has historically been a go-to bar for me. Generally nice vibes, good happy hour deals, good brunch. Went tonight and had a friend refused service without any explanation. We offered up IDs and asked for even a basic explanation to correct any behavior on our part, and were simply told the manager “pointed out our friend and there was an incident such that we cannot serve him”. Really just disappointed overall, especially as we don’t have a clue as to what “incident” occurred and what we could have done differently. Apparently there’s some arbitrary unknown rule set that the bar upholds and will not reveal to customers. Be warned.

I've been here probably 10-15 times. They suddenly refused service to a friend with no explanation; no issue taken with us last time we were there, we tip, close out properly, aren't too rowdy, etc. Just refused to service friend, so I won't keep coming here unfortunately.

Edit 2: I really enjoy this place but the driveway has turned into a rock crawling expedition, leave your sports cars at home for now, they are apparently aware of the terrible driveway issue but arenn doing anything about it :(

Extremely overpriced, girl working the bar looked at us when we walked in then right back to looking down, seemed bothered to have to talk to us to answer questions about the menu. Nondisclosed up charge for paying with card, maybe that’s hidden somewhere in the menu. Alcohol was good. Plenty of places to sit and hang out

My colleagues and I love the ambiance of this place, especially after handling several cases on a Monday. We enjoy the option to sit indoors or outdoors, which adds to the experience. The food was served quickly and was delicious. I tried the Caprese bowl and the best-fried chicken sammich, both of which were excellent. Overall, my amazing team and I look forward to visiting again soon!

Place to never come back. I order a 6th street migas. The beans came with an extra protein (a fly). I let them know & nobody did even an apology. Then I ask for a drink but the bearded guy at the bar was so rude that didn’t want to sell ‘cos he didn’t recognize my international driver license. Shitty food shitty service.
Fun and cozy atmosphere with tons of vintage decor and plenty of outdoor seating as well. They have the best root beer, tasty fries, and the burgers were pretty good. Make sure you know what you’re ordering as soon as you approach the counter. This was an extremely slow night on a Saturday, and the bartender was pretty annoyed we weren’t going quicker for him. Other than that, it’s a fun spot to hangout.
