First time visiting this place yesterday! My food was hot and good! They have some good chicken wings and fried rice. Prices are affordable and two can eat off one plate lol ? I really enjoyed my food and will be back. I didn’t sit in the drive through very long and service was fast. Also this location only accepts cash. Also their Kool-Aid Slush is very very sweet and good!!

We went to Timmy Chan on MLK today. The egg rolls had a nice crunch to them, but the interior was just okay. The chicken wings were great. Crunchy and a little bit of spice to them which was nice. The Lo Mein noodles were a little overcooked but still good. The chicken fried rice was fantastic.Be aware that they give you a lot of food. So you may only need one meal if there are only two of you. The location may not look too appealing, but the food was very good and at a great price.
I had given up hope of continuing to patronize one of my favorite childhood eateries. However, the real issue is all Timmy Chan's won't produce the quality and flavor food as the original one!!! With that being said this is the best location to get your TC fix from. No turkey wing size chicken wings. Your gonna have a few feathers bit, not a whole whole lot lol.
If I could give “0” stars to this establishment I would have! I waited in line for almost 35 minutes only to find out it’s a “CASH ONLY” establishment! I was so pissed. I can’t think of any establishment in this century that’s “CASH ONLY”! Im sure they exist, but none to my knowledge.I am certain they’re aware of the line and the wait time, so the least they can do is place signage out near the curb so people can be informed without having to waste time waiting in line only to find out they won’t be able to order anything, especially if they don’t carry enough cash to order what you want. I’m guessing they assume everyone will know this, but it’s a hard NO! Maybe their regulars know. I will not return and don’t recommend unless you carry enough CASH!

I have been going to this Timmy Chans since I was a kid living in Beaumont, Tx. The owner is a great guy and very cordial. I now live in Richmond, TX, and will drive to MLK Timmy Chans whenever I want chicken. For the owner to remember me as Coach is a great feeling.

Everyone knows about this spot, but if you're unfamiliar just know, there's are a few "the original Timmy Chans" but this is THE ONE. Disclaimer, the chicken is smaller here, but taste better than the others. They all have annoying long drive thru lanes and terribly outdated drive thru menu screens, but all you need to know is BRING CASH, THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CARDS and you can't go wrong with the Chicken, the fried biscuits, a cup of gravy and a kool-aid.... Yes, they sell kool-aid... So ghetto and so good.
