Azumi - where to start. I'll preface this review with the fact that we went around 3:15pm, and stayed probably until 5:30. So a shift change etc might have affected our experience. Drinks and food were very slow to arrive - sometimes 20mins to get a drink or a nigiri. PEI Oysters were lackluster with oddly wide variety - from size to shell. While mignonette was good, the pairing of pickled cucumbers was just weird - they would have overwhelmed the oysters. The vegetable tempura...

A+ all around - fantastic food, cool atmosphere/design, and warm service. Enjoyed happy hour on the patio with the sunset. Food and drinks were very enjoyable - candidly, I was a bit skeptical going in just given the scene-y location - but they knocked it out. Fish was super fresh, and small details like fresh grated wasabi and the steamed to order edamame sealed the deal. Fantastic!

The sashimi is all incredible. I love spots like Uchi and Katami and Azumi still really impressed with their quality. Highlights are O-Toro, Kama Toro (the fattiest tuna from the collars), Hamachi and Sake Toro.
The service is impeccable. I was very well taken care of by server Jonathan and chef Gabriel.
The sushi bar is actually very comfortable with padded chairs with pillows.
Very easy to get a seat with no reservation required for lunch on a Saturday....
