This was my first visit in honor of Houston Restaurant Week and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Caesar salad, penne Stefano, and the banana pudding. It was ALL amazing. This quick stop intrigued me enough to make plans to return to try their shrimp scampi or sausage panni

Used to have lunch here regularly when I worked in the area. It's been over 7 years and I'm happy to say that the food and service are still top-notch. The breadsticks and olive oil were always my fave and I'm glad they haven't changed! I would definitely recommend.

Solid italian place when I feel that is rare. Smells like an italian place when you get in there and I would bet most of their dishes are solid. I’ve only been once, but my gf and I’s meal was good and I liked their options. The only thing I’m not sure on is meal size, but between the bread and pasta, it filled me. I’ll be back at some point.

I used to work in the area and this was my favie Italian go-to for lunch. I’ve missed it so much! We were in the area taking family pictures in Memorial Park that when we were done I called to see if they could accommodate a large party of 12. They worked with us and we were able to have dinner here. Everything tasted just as good as it did a few years ago! The staff always so friendly. I ordered my Chicken Canneloni and the delish chocolate cake. My family was super impressed and they couldn’t stop talking about it. I’ve tried almost their whole menu, anything you order is super delish, never been dissatisfied. Miss you so much Palazzo’s!

My mom and I had lunch today at Palazzo's Cafe on Briargrove. Donny and Sonja were so attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions with a smile. My mom ordered the eggplant parmesan and she said that it was the best of any other restaurant that she has tried. I had the meatball panini and it was so delicious and the portion was so much larger than anticipated. I also had their chicken noodle soup which was absolutely amazing. The chicken literally melted in my mouth and the broth was not overly salty like many soups at restaurants usually are. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience today and would highly recommend Palazzo's Cafe if you are looking for delicious food in a small and cozy cafe environment. This place is definitely a hidden gem here in Houston. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. ☺️
We ordered takeout based off their menu on their website (not 3rd party ordering) and their prices were different than listed. It wasn’t just minor discrepancies, not only were the prices higher but when we called an ordered an entree and confirmed we wanted the house salad (which is included per the menu) we were charged a higher price for the dish as well as an additional $5 for the salad. When we mentioned this to staff they said “yes we know, the owner hasn’t changed it” and that was it.
That said we did enjoy the pizza, the pasta dishes were average. Overall not worth it in our opinion.

We have gone to Palazzo's many times so when my boys came home from college they requested we go there. We go in and its not very busy. One party of 6 and 1-2 other tables occupied. We were 6 people and when asked to be seated the host told us I don't have any tables of 6 I cannot seat you. We suggested he put 2 tables of 4 together. There were many many empty tables. He said I can't do that. So we asked him are you telling us we cannot eat here and we should go somewhere else? He shrugged. We were shocked. I asked him if he was joking and he said no I cannot seat you. Not, it will be about 15 minutes, I am short staffed or anything just sorry, we don't want your business today. We walked out the door stunned. In the parking lot there was another family that had also just been turned away! We will not go back to this location EVER. We ended up going to the one on Briar Forest and had incredible service. Train your staff. Hire more staff, do something but don't tell people you cannot serve them!

A friend of mine suggested this place as it was his go to for Chicken Marsala. We sat down and were immediately greeted with fresh bread.
The Chicken Marsala came out and I was not disappointed one bit! It was absolutely fantastic. It was super flavorful and very comforting. After finishing the meal, they bread was a perfect medium to clean the plate!
The staff were very friendly and the place was not super packed on a weekday for lunch. I will definitely be back to give their other dishes a try.
