the variety of food at a reasonable price.
Worst experience of my life ?. No one was there and the doors were closed ?
Entering Pancho's today was like stepping back in time! All the fresh, hot enchiladas, flautas, tacos and chalupas one can eat. And don't forget to raise the flag for steaming hot soppapillas with honey .... and MORE FOOD!!!Nothing has changed. This location on Hwy 45 South is clean, with friendly service, and all the delicious tex/mex food that tastes exactly as we remembered. (Not to be confused with the Hwy 45 North location which is horrible.)My family enjoyed our VERY special dinner outings at the Bellaire, TX location, and my husband's family at the Spring Branch location during the 1960s/1970s. After we married in the 1980s, OUR kids asked for their annual family birthday dinners at the SW Houston/Hwy59 location. We will definitely be back soon, and bring our children - and THEIR children ... so they can make amazing memories raising the flag too. More soppapillas, please!!! ?
It's been years since we've been and my wife's mom used to love coming here for the sopapillas and honey. The food is three stars for taste and quality, what you get is plenty. The fourth star is for the little old lady that brought us whatever we asked for with a great big smile. We made sure we gave her a great tip, she deserved it. They have a dessert bar with churros and chocolate cake and cookies....the churros were good. On our last visit I do remember sending a white flag up our flagpole signifying our surrender, hey! I'm easily entertained.
We just left Panchos in Humble and OH MY GOSH! This is the cleanest restaurant and friendliest people!! We will be coming back next time we’re in this area!! This brought back so many childhood memories with my family.
I'm sorry but I have to be honest. The food looked ok but no flavor in anything. Put it this way. My table didn't finish their first plate, much less get seconds. Staff was cool though.
Service and Food were good, haven't been to a Panchos in over 15 years since they left Arizona. Was not disappointed. A great place to bring the family.
My family loves Panchos! I grew up eating here. Birthday dinners every year, wearing the sombrero and getting a piñata! Good memories. I live in Tn now and I must say when I go back home, I always make a stop here. Would love one here!! Hoping to come again soon!
Experience was alright. All the food tasted as if they were a few days old. The Salsa for the chips tasted expired.Been going here since I was a kid and each year the quality keeps going down. The only thing that felt fresh was the Sopapillas
I’ve been going to Pancho’s since the 1st one opened in El Paso, TX over 60 years ago! My Dad even talked the owner into opening Pancho’s in the Houston, TX area (where we later moved to) That’s when Pancho’s first opened in Pasadena, TX. I grew up eating out at Pancho’s, so did my kidd’os and grandkids! So, I must ask…why did you change the recipe?!?!! The chili relleno’s look and taste completely different, and the green chili stew is not green nor does it even taste similar to the green chili stew I knew from Pancho’s! All this changed in a year!! I visited Houston last year and could hardly wait to enjoy a great Pancho dinner. This year…what a huge disappointment. The service though was great!

Food is great as always. In fact it tasted better. Must be because it's been awhile
A little salty and one of the wait staff was kinda rough around the edges but everything else was good
Food was Luke warm, cold. Chicken was dry and cold. Enchiladas looked like they had been sitting there since yesterday. Everything was gross. I feel so disappointed, because I use to love Panchos. I RECOMMEND NOT COMING. ?
My husband loves Panchos. I like their Fideo soup and the sopapillas
We live in Thrall,Tx but have eaten at this Pancho’s several times over the last few years on our way to Galveston. We also eat at the one in Mesquite Texas when we go to Dallas. We love Pancho’s, I grew up eating there every Sunday after church in Dallas off Mockingbird blvd. for us it’s worth the 4 hour drive. My mom is 91 and I am 65…. We are always trying to think up reasons to go to Dallas or Houston.
