Place is a little loud, so if you want to have a conversation with your significant other, don't come here. Its more family orientated. Food is great but a little high, and so are the drinks. But I guess everyone has chooses there own prices. 🤷

I don't know why the quality of food is so little and lackluster but I won't be returning. I ordered food to go and for as much as things cost I thought I was going to get a portion that would atleast be enough food to feed someone. I was wrong. I ordered two orders of the Cajun Tenderloins and they are 20 plus dollars for an entree order and 10 for a kids meal. They threw 4 strips in a HUGE box. The tenderloins were so small that I could not believe it. The amount was awful and so was the size. It was actually insulting. I went inside to ask management about it. The nice manager informed me it may be because of the box. Inside I laughed because that is not an excuse for those crumbs that were in that box. After she offered no resolve I asked for my money to be refunded and gave her back the food. This place has really gone down hill. I will just cook at home.

Service was excellent. I had blackened catfish with shrimp etoffee and dirty rice. Wife had fried shrimp with fries. We ordered off of the lunch menu and the portions were still large. Everything was cooked to perfection and the price was very reasonable considering the quality and portion size of the meals. We have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and never had a bad meal.

NEVER ORDER TOGO! I’ve never had a bad experience dining in, but ordering to-go was disappointing. I spent about $25 on the crab meat spinach dip and received a very small portion. The quality also wasn’t up to the standard I’m used to. Based on this experience, to-go orders seem to come with smaller portions and lower quality, which is frustrating given the price. Just a heads-up for anyone considering ordering to-go.
01/06/2026 at 1:30pm i went to pappadeaux on federal rd to pick up a to go order for me and my husband. The order consisted of gumbo with sausage and seafood platter. My husband got off work around 6:30pm changed clothes and had his dinner at 7pm and to our surprise the seafood platter seem to have been picked over. He had 1 piece of fish not 2, 2 shrimp, 2 oysters and ff. When I looked at the reciept it was for a steak , so I did not even have the correct receipt. I am very disappointed in the location because i come her a lot. I don't think I will be returning.

Based on a delivery order only... Fish was cold and fries as well plus soggy. Flavorless fish unseasoned fries, just too basic for the price. Next time I'll just avoid and eat in the restaurant.
