My husband brought me here to celebrate clear scans from my oncologist. It was my first time eating here and it was DELICIOUS! The complimentary bread and butter was so yummy, and the lump crab spinach dip was delectable! My husband ordered the cajun chicken tenders and was very pleased. I ordered the crawfish etouffee and it was the best etouffee I've ever had. Our waiter, D, was so awesome and on top of everything. I couldn't decide between 2 drinks, the Lifes a Peach or Purple Voodoo, so I asked his opinion and said peach. I ordered Life's a Peach and it was so good. Very very happy with my experience and I hope to come back some day.

Service her is absolutely atrocious. Busy or not, it’s always slow. Every once in awWhatever time they tell you to pick up your order, come about 15 minutes later and then you only have to wait 10-15 minutes. You have to check your order before you leave. Don’t expect them to pay attention to any modifications or include everything in your order. Don’t let the attendant leave until you make sure everything is in your order or you will have e to go inside and wait another 5 minutes for basic stuff like dressing.

I think they were just busy, but our food took a very long time to come out and it was cold when it was finally brought out. We all had to have our food reheated.

My friends warned me not to ever come to this location and they were right. Gordon Ramsey himself could not fix this dump. This location ruins the PAPPAS name entirely. It needs a total clean sweep.
The hostess treated us like an inconvenience like they were so annoyed to have to do the job they are paid for. The manager came to chastise the hosts in front of everyone. The manager had a very nasty demeanor rolling her eyes all in front of us and visibly annoyed which created a very unwelcome atmosphere.
After we were seated, the server was polite and took our drink orders. But after receiving our dinner, none of the appetizer plates were cleared and neither was any of the trash. We understand restaurants get busy…It would not have been a problem had the server not already clean her other big table behind us, and totally left our table messy and trashy even tho she had just cleared the next table. This felt racially motivated. Makes no sense other than we were simply not a priority or deserving of the service.
I went to the host stand to ask for a manager because my bacon on the wrapped shrimp was raw. Manager never came. I gave this feedback to the server, which was very apologetic. Again, manager never comes to the table to address, replace or anything of the sort. Either there are not enough supervisors on the floor or they just don’t care. Does anyone care for that matter? By the looks of the reviews, it doesn’t seem like it.
Needless to say, I will not be coming back to any of these PAPPAS restaurants for a while, if ever.

They told me to wait 40 minutes, I waited almost 50 minutes and other people arrived with the same number of people as me, they sent them to wait outside but they made them wait much longer before they told me their table is reserved ok but as if it was reserved, they made them wait so long outside, very bad experience.

I haven’t been here in a while, but my kids and grandson love Pappadeux so we decided to celebrate February birthdays here. My husband and daughter had cocktails that they really enjoyed and said were good. All of our 6 entrees and appetizer’s were cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Our server was very attentive and professional. We didn’t have to ask her for anything! I forgot her name but she’s from Louisiana. Best experience we’ve had there.

Terrible experience. We ate here last night and it took, no kidding, 38 minutes for a drink. Our waiter was unapologetic and although it seemed like there was a ton of available wait staff, it was like we didn’t exist. The couple next to us waited even longer. We eat at the one near League City all of the time and it’s wonderful so we were shocked at how awful our experience was.

I also got a stuffed shrimp and it was like sesame seeds were in the batter i
Didn't like and I feel it needed a few more seconds in the fryer. I was not pleased and I've been there to dine in and food to go so many times I can't count but today just was a bad experience and I will not be returning

Today i was craving pappadeaux I normally don't go to the establishment bc the one by my house is always packed and quite frankly the customer service is not what I expect when I'm coming and spending 100+ dollars but today took the cake....my bartender jimesha was a doll and this review is in no way in regards to the great service she provided which was a breath of fresh air and very much so appreciated. This review is for the two female Managers that made my experience one I would not repeat. I arrived there at 8:20 the manager with the braces was already making sure everyone knew 9 was approaching and she was ready to go. I work in there service industry and the customer service does not stop until every guest is out of the building. Her customer service was turned off before the restaurant even closed. Anywho I asked my bartender jimesha if they took tap to pay I had left my card and only had that available she advised me they did not but the manager should beable to use my card number and or I could buy a giftcard online in order to pay so I proceeded to enjoy my drinks and meal with the thought I would have no problems with payment at the end....when it was time for payment jimesha asked the manager to come over to assist me with paying out the manager with the braces came and advised me I couldn't use my card number she didn't know how to do that but I could buy a e gift card online no problem I went online to purchase giftcard and while waiting on gift card I got a message from Amazon saying they couldn't process because my account was flagged based on the purchase I just tried to make...I advised jimesha of this and she called over a manager a different one then the one I had first spoke with and her energy was it's 9 and I don't have time for this. She read the email not in its entirety as I was trying to explain she walked away as if the issue had been resolved..now at this time I'm then feeling dismissed and insulted bc all I'm trying to do is make sure yall get paid. She never returned...the other manager with the braces returned but did not speak to me I had to flag her down and ask her if the other manager had advised her what was going on and if we could come to a resolve. She then told me I could go online order all the things I had ordered and pay there but did not stay around long enough to even help me do that she then clocked out and never seen her again...after me and jimesha figured the online out the other manager then walked over to me to confirm I had paid at the right location but if they had been there from the jump to help she wouldn't have had to confirm that with me. The managers where very unprofessional and lacked any common courtesy. How they are managers IS definitely beyond me and would recommend yall find better help. I will be also contacting corporate in regards to this matter. There needs to be some type of reprimand and training for the manages that are there. Papadeaux is expensive and the customers should be treated as if they are spending there hard earned money to sit and enjoy the time they spend there. I APPRECIATE JIMESHA VERY MUCH.

This was my first time visiting Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen and the service was top tier!

I wasn’t a huge fan of the food, neither was my daughter, but I absolutely adored Krystal and how she so effortlessly made sure that we were at the very least—satisfied!

If I do happen to revisit, I’ll try the salad instead ♡

The absolute WORST Service I have experienced in my lifetime!! Our family had reservations for 11/23 for 14 ppl . We were gathering after my Uncle’s Funeral and decided to have lunch at Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurant on 2525 S Loop W, Houston, TX 77054. My Cousin, T, who had made the reservation, was communicating with an employee to move our table to another area but the employee would not accommodate us to be seated in area where we can all be together; which was hard to understand, because the place was filled with empty tables. Her replies were rude and disrespectful. After my Cousin made every attempt to coordinate and even debate with this person, the Manager, we decided to just take our seats and focus on our reason for being there. My Cousin’s Mother them asked the so called Manager, if we can get service? “Can we get water for these tables, now?” The Manager replied, “You not gone talk to me like that, I don’t care who you are or why you’re here!” That was the straw that broke the camel’s back for my family and I. We got up, we left, and went to Pappasito’s Cantina and were treated with RESPECT, Courtesy, and Professionalism! Our family was treated poorly by this Pappadeaux’s location. I’m still angry! You will see attached the photo of the picture of the Manager with her arms folded and additional staff observing the entire situation.

This was recommended to us by a friend, and it did not disappoint. The seafood was great and suggestions from the server were greatly appreciated and allowed us to enjoy our meal even more. The manager came out to greet us, which created a friendly atmosphere for our dining experience. Expect to walk out with a takeout box.
