We needed to ask for fresher bread. Service was good. My drink was good it was peach something. But it took awhile for them to make it and bring it for some reason. I had wild caught red snapper with lump crab in a lemon butter sauce. It was good. I like that snapper is a light fish without too much of the fishy flavor. Also had creme brulee and key lime pie take home. They were both good.

Pappadeaux used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I do feel the service and food quality have slipped a bit while prices have gone up tremendously but still is a very great restaurant and experience. We were in a large party so that could be why the service was a little lacking. Overall it was a great time with family and very thankful that our large party could be accommodated.

It had been a long day. On this visit I ordered the stuffed shrimp with fries. When it came out I was very disappointed. I could see the bottom of the box when I opened it. The portion of sides was sad and disappointing. Granted I only paid $15. I expected to revive more fries. Damn, they don’t cost that much to the restaurant. As far as the taste. The stuff shrimp were good. Fries decent. I got what I got for $15. Next time I’ll dine-in.

Called to verify that they had soft shell crabs. Asked 3 times to verify that they had it. They assured me that they did. Made the 25 minute drive. I got there and they said that they dont. Asked to speak to manager Josie. She was being immature laughing and playing around not taking me serious. I had to keep waiting for her to come back to our conversation. Definitely don’t come here.

I received the Caesar grilled chicken salad via door dash. This was the most disgusting salad I have had in a long time. The chicken was disgusting. Even the salad dressing was nasty. I can not believe Pappadeaux charges $25 for this salad. I hope my gf can ge the money back or something. I can not eat this.

Hostesses in the front are incompetent. My party was thought to have belong to a company party, but I called and made reservations under my name a week prior, so the mix up did not make sense as I was not with a company. I could tell the manager was trying to assess the frustrating situation, as he could probably see our irritation; we finally sat down an hour after the reservation time. Food was great as always. One of my guest who is well known in Houston & also known for tipping $300+ left the restaurant early in disgust with the service after ordering 1 drink, that took 20 minutes. Disappointing

Place is nice and it gets a 4-Star due to the long wait for drinks and food to arrive at table. I must say we did have a large group of 10+ and the child’s plate could have come out early and it ended up being last.

This place sux. Never again.
Ordered honey mustard for my salad, never came out. Waiter finally saw we had none after we finished eating. Ordered bread before the meal, salad came out first. Really bad experience.

Pappadeaux‘s used to be one of the premier seafood places in Houston, no longer. Mediocrity has taken over!

The service is very slow here, slower than any Pappadeaux I’ve been to. The food was ok but it would’ve been better had it arrived on time and been hot. I expected bar service to be much better. Sadly disappointed.
