My pasta was cold and I waited 1 hours to receive my order. The waiter was also rude and got my order and told me I had to pay to receive another order.

Wife and I made a 1 pm reservation in case this location was busy. Upon arriving there was no line and was seated immediately. Our waiter was Tyler who was very very nice and professional. We ordered drinks promptly along with an appetizer of cheese bits. Cheese bites arrived hot and they were delicious. For the main course wife ordered Redfish Pontchatrain I believe it was called, I ordered the Blackened Catfish and the chicken/fried shrimp combo. Mains meals came out pretty fast and the presentation for everything looked amazing. Wife absolutely loved her meal. The Blackened catfish however for me was not so good. The red beans and rice had some weird tang to it that made it unbearable to eat. Blackened fish itself had a pretty good taste but honestly the fish was just absolutely drowned in so much butter it gave the fish an overpowering butter tast along with a slimy texture while eating it that made it horrible. The chicken and shrimp was very good. For desert I got the turtle caramel brownie with vanilla ice cream on top. I didn't get a pic of that but it was to die for. I definitely will come back but won't be getting the Blackened catfish again.

Our once favorite seafood restaurant turned in to a club on Easter evening. The rap music using vulgar words wasn't appropriate. I've been dining at Pappadeaux since I was a kid, but that's it for us. We tried to sit at multiple tables but the speakers with the rap music above us wasn't happening. We also dine at Pappas steakhouse once a week a block away, but we are definitely rethinking how we spend our money dining if this is what the new Pappas wants their product to be, especially on Easter.
