Your to go serving staff is so rude and disrespectful. I came into Houston from Louisiana and was absolutely ridiculed and treated poorly for not knowing exactly what I wanted. They continued to ridicule me and joke about my appearance.As a business you should really strive for better service. It’s really a shame pinkertons was sold out, because I’m sure their food and quality of service would have far exceeded my experience with this sorry excuse of an establishment.

I'm so upset I arrived at 9p went to drive thru security guardsitting blocking the line with his car saying its closed go on the inside remind you it's 9p ON THE DOOR IT STATES 10P CLOSED well guess what I drove for nothing they also said inside closed as well ? ?

Being from the Midwest I consider my BBQ pallet to be pretty good. I thought this place had fair prices, nice staff and a good order at the counter atmosphere. However I wasn't a big fan of their BBQ sauce, much to sweet for my liking. The meat it self was tasty but the sides were just average.

Today I was fat girl hungry so I picked Pappas and decided on getting the fish sandwhich on jalapeno bread-dipped it in the tartar sauce, side-cheese fries. OMG I would have showed you all a picture but it's all gone.
Best time to go on Sunday is after 3. It's very crowded before. Plenty of seats and some persons celebrating birthdays. So many delicious choices, so it hard to pick. Nice atmosphere.
Don't order the chopped beef sandwich. $22 for fries, tea and sandwich but, where's the beef?? Super fatty with no meat on the some parts of bun. Maybe your running out of brisket but, not impressed. Used to be my favorite BBQ place but quickly removed from consideration for any revisits.

Sloppy sloppy service “86” on the beef ribs at 6pm on Super Bowl Sunday and then the staff so slow or untrained she still trying to ring me up with no ribs on my plate ! Silly ! Then I asked so what did your boss say - her response no beef ribs okay ?? and proceeds to ring me up !!

This Pappa's BBQ by far is one of my FAVES in the entire city. Every single time I go, they are willing to help me make decisions about my food. Melissa, the General Manager and the ENTIRE staff is AMAZING. I thoroughly enjoy every single visit. My favorite plate is the two meat plate with potato salad and cucumber salad. And lets not forget a slice of cheesecake. Thank you all for an AWESOME experience every single time!!!!
