ordered a turkey for christmas eve when arrived at home we pulled a chicken size bird out of the foam ice cooler the bird didnt have no flavor and dry very very dry weve bought our turkey there for years because of the size and flavor and juicyiness terrible experience for 2024 i cant risk paying high money for dry flavorless small turkey on 2025

Pappas BBQ is my favorite place. We used to live close to one, so I'd go all the time. Now it's far, and when I go into Houston, I'll stop in and get a bite to eat. I got the chopped beef baked potato 12/29/24. The meat was horrible. I had to take it off the potato. It was nothing but hard, dry bits of meat. It was like all the dried burnt pieces were collected, and I unfortunately was given of what should have been put in the trash. Then there was no sour cream and just a small dash of cheese. For $15, I was expecting a lot more. So basically I had a potato with butter! I wish I would have thought of taking a picture of it! HORRIBLE!!

Just paid $50 for 2 combo plates to-go of beef ribs and turkey and beef sausage and they gave me a bone a plate with no meat on the bone AT ALL AND 3 bite of beef sausage and 3 bites of turkey. Soooooo very pisssed off . Will not be coming back P.s Im a chef and have been for 20yrs

this place is absolutely phenomenal. the atmosphere is nice and cozy and the food is amazing. i got the pulled pork, mac and cheese, and cucumber salad as my meal. the pulled pork and tangy mustard went together perfectly. if i could give this place 10 stars i would.

My food/order was delivered....i am a truck driver and was parked at the HEB distrubution center. My wife placed the order for me and let me tell you, I was BEYOND satisfied and IMPRESSED! I reside in the Rio Grande Valley where we take PRIDE in our BBQ as all of Texas. I thought I had tasted it all but I was wrong. Everything was so big, full of flavor and all the textures were perfect! Even the slice of pickle were huge. The bread was THICK! The layer of seasons on the brisket was thick and tasteful! The slices of sausage were huge! The onion was so white and perfectly cut..I mean it was just so perfect ..I have a big appetite and I didn't finish my order so I will eat twice from my order. It was definitely worth it and for all this the price was not bad at all. I highly recommend!
