The food and customer service here is always on point when I'm in need of some good ol' BBQ. The drive-thru is quick, efficient and highly convenient w/ pretty good staff that I've ever come encounter with. I always utilize the drive-thru and have never visited inside the restaurant so I can't review the atmosphere or overall customer service within the establishment. However, my experience today was a -0. Ms. Nicolasa became upset when I switched my order from a combo to a trio plate (no difference whatsoever other than adding two ribs) and attitude was just nasty throughout the entire transaction, w/ me being polite the entire time. What got me was when I arrived home and checked my plate. For one, everything was not hot as it should have been for my short drive but the ribs and she made sure I got exactly 3 slices of sausage and literally a spoon full of pull pork... I order the same exact thing each and everytime from different locations, eating off each plate ×3, and have never had an issue on portion size or services, but this was funny upon discovery... felt like I ordered a kids meal... she was so mean and gave off evil vibes, again for no reason @ all, that I didn't even care to eat the food when I saw it. Customer service is just that! And it doesn't suit fit for miserable people... I dislike writing negative reviews but her demeanor @ that window needs to be brought to light if it hasn't already. Despite my experience today, all previous visits before has been smooth and very well worth visiting.

My Girlfriend & I were visiting from Portland, OR & Boise, ID & she insisted on going to Pappas for dinner. An absolute Homerun!!! It was fabulously delicious with large meaty Pork Ribs and fantastic sides too. We got the baked beans, green beans, Coleslaw, & the Dirty Rice which was so unexpectedly good. What a fantastic 1st night in Houston, TX.

I hate ordering to go. They give you trash. My rib plate had 4 ribs that simply not edible bc it was the hard overcooked end pieces that should have been trashed.

I always come to this location because the meat is well seasoned and moist. I like their sliced brisket sandwich. My visit before this was not so good. The amount of meat for the price was small, about three small burnt dry pieces. I attributed it to being later in the evening and maybe it was the last of it.. I had said I wasn't coming back but the taste of when it was good told me to try one more time. I am glad I did. It was worth the try. Please don't give your customers the last burnt pieces of meat unless requested. I would at least know that was the last of what you had and chose whether I want it. Again you redeemed yourself tonight. Thank you. The staff on duty was very friendly and professional. I willnreturn!!!
You can’t talk about Houston without mentioning Pappas Bar-B-Q. The See You At The Top Fleet came through and felt right at home, good food, good people, and that authentic Houston hospitality that never misses. A reminder that some traditions never fade, they just keep getting better.

This second time an month they forgot to pick barq sauce the bags in drive 'through 🚗 I think this inattentionly. The location on bissonett closed. If you guys dont get your act together this location will be next. I think mangers have changed over the last few months or sometime. Because this ridiculous 🙄. Word of travels fast for business. You need to better

Drive thru was inexcusable yesterday! It was not busy whatsoever when I came, maybe only 3-4 cars in the parking lot, so I didn’t think the drive thru would be a long wait. I waited for 10 minutes behind 2 cars after placing order and the line hadn’t moved, so I left! If you can’t get an order out in less than 5 minutes per car, your staff is not doing their job accordingly.
