This is most favorite location to go in Houston. The food is great. I always go through the drive thru, service can be top tier or with an attitude depending on the person's mood at the window đȘ. You have to get there early on the weekends bc they run out of wings and ribs.

Good little spot. I had a salad, brisket and pork ribs. The salad was good. The brisket was good. The pork ribs were a bit tough and chewy for my liking could have just been the batch as they were waiting for more to become ready. However they had a unique flavor a sweet cracked pepper very unique. I am visiting and decided to stop by since it's walking distance from the hotel. The restaurant was very clean. The workers were extra friendly and the sweet tea was good. I would try this place again.

Pappas BBQ Downtown truly needs extra staff for the breakfast rush in the drive-thru. Vehicles are coming from both directions. Line is too long. Vehicles skipping other vehicles that's been waiting on the street in line. People are rushing to work. It's just ridiculous! Open the inside for customers to order too!! Just need more staff.

Placed an order over the phone and was pretty clear on what the order should be. The order was not correct. Brought it managementâs attention and a remake was offered but was not practical so I asked for a refund instead. Initially, the refund was handled promptly and all was well. Until they reversed the refund the next day. I was then charged again on top of the reversal. Called back only for the refund to be botched again. I cannot tell you how many different managers Iâve spoken to and how many times Iâve had to re-explain the issue. Itâs been two weeks and these people still have not corrected the mistake and at one point, I was offered a store credit. Why would I need a store credit to use at a place I have no interest in going back to?
The food was very overpriced for what youâre getting. The total wasnât mentioned until pickup time. Usually itâs mentioned right after the order is taken over the phone. All in all, I highly recommend you try another location. Other Pappas locations have been much more competent and have better service.
I ordered a potato with brisket and they served me a pittance of brisket without bacon and two microscopic pieces of the green stem of the onion , their service is terrible

Terrible portions, little to no brisket on 3/4 orders. The sides are a few spoons to maybe a spoon. I do not recommend this bbq establishment, hopefully another bbq company can open across the street that doesnât cheat me out of portions.

$21 for a small, stale, overcooked potato, grainy and stale tasting, the brisket was tender. The gave me a new potato that wasnât much better. For the price, the size was tiny but add poor quality and itâs just not worth over $20 for 3oz of brisket and cheese
