My favorite steak house. I have been going there since 1992 and this place hasn’t changed much in terms of interior, atmosphere, food and hospitality. As time has frozen. Everything there is top notched and very hard to keep up such a class and hospitality for that long . It’s their flag ship and certainly they know how to keep it afloat . I would recommend everyone to go there if they want a real steak

This is the perfect traditional steakhouse by definition. Service is old school wonderful. The bread service is great, and the attention to detail to warm un the plates and seasoned them with butter when serving steak it's amazing.

I brought my son to Houston for his birthday weekend and we had a very memorable experience at Pappas Brothers in Houston. Our server Sheng and the manager Jack made this a night that we will never forget. The food was excellent, but was only outmatched by the ambience and service. The lobster deviled eggs were one of the best dishes we have ever had. Afterwards, we got a special tour of both the indoor and outdoor wine cellars. I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this establishment if you are in the Houston area.

The food was delicious, but I ordered the turtle mouse and because the waiter didn’t ask about allergies, I took a bite and realized there were pecans in it. I AM ALLERGIC TO PECANS! That could have been fatal. PLEASE PLEASE PELASE ensure all wait staff are asking about food allergies. That could have ended so terribly.

My sis and I had dinner for the first time here on a Friday night. We didn't have reservations, but were able to sit at a table near the bar. It was hands down the best dining experience that we've ever had. Chef Marco and the team made us feel very well taken care of; the food was absolutely amazing; and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. We indulged and tried quite a few dishes—and everything was excellent! Looking forward to going back again soon. Highly recommend it!

EXCELLENT WAIT STAFF!! We arrived 1 hr before closing; staff never rushed us. Delicious sides. Drinks were reasonable. But, 2 of our 6 steaks were undercooked and blah tasting.

tried pappa’s for the first time and had a wonderful experience! sheng did a fantastic job explaining the chef specials and his favorites. we ended up getting a bone in ribeye, potatoes au gratin, and a chef’s special of bone in filet mignon with scallops, and cheesecake for dessert. the steaks were cooked perfectly.we can’t wait to go back!
