The Pappasitos in terminal E is always the nicest and best service in the Bush Airport. Ms. Daisy makes that place just special. She greats you with a smile and goes over and beyond to help you.

This rating is more like a 4.5, but given Houston Airport terminals C and E are a freakin' dining disaster (check out the reviews and ratings on virtually all the other options...terrible!) this is the lone shining star. Staff were nice and funny. Food smells great as you walk up. My order came up fast. I got the enchiladas with the red/meat sauce...one beef one chicken and they were pretty good (chicken was slightly better)! Even the sides of rice and beans were better than I've had in some normal non-airport grab-and-go restaurants! I really wasn't looking for Mexican or TexMex food since I'm on my way to Mexico, but no regrets about stopping here at all.

Great for gluten free. In addition to recommending gluten free menu items, the attendant also said he would warn the kitchen staff about cross contamination. He made me feel very comfortable.
The food itself was quite good. For example, I was expecting pre-made guacamole, but it looked freshly prepared.
The atmosphere is the airport, so what can you say? This said, the music was nice.

Had a burrito - little smaller and overpriced like any airport food is going to be but it tasted good so I'm satisfied. The thick slices of steak were surprisingly tender. I'd come back.

Chips and salsa are great, so thin and crispy. I usually get the hard shell tacos which are very good.
Portions are a little small, but the taste of the food makes up for it.
