It's a greasy spoon for people at the VA. The hoagies are a pretty good deal. Pizza is super thick and greasy (but that's how most like it ????) Any sushi, AVOID.
Kid-friendliness: Well, they haven't killed any.

I had a couple of samples yesterday at Tallent in Riverside, and decided to grab a couple of bags, Texas Bourbon Pecan and Crossed Sabers. Made a cup of the TBP this morning, and it was so good I had to have another. Chris is a good guy, and I talked to him for a few minutes to find out about his coffee, and definitely switching to him for my morning brew (I've been drinking BR, but not liking the expansion and they just don't taste as as good as they used to). He's in 30 stores, including Tallent and Rust Game Stop near New Braunfels if you're by me, and he ships.

Great place for a quick bite while waiting to be seen by a doctor or picking up medication at the pharmacy. You don’t have to leave VA Medical Center.Patriot Cafe also does catering for folks working here. By the Slice is my favorite place to get a slice of pizza. Yum.
