My wife made reservations at Patton's for our first experience. I hadn't read the reviews and didn't know it had a speakeasy vibe. When we arrived, the only restaurant sign was for Savoir. We went into the brightly lite Savoir restaurant, and they took us around the bar and through a wine room door to the Patton's restaurant in a back room. It had a more romantic vibe and darkly lite. The steaks were great, and we enjoyed their chocolate cheese cake. Not as impressed with their potatoes and broccoli sides. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, drinks and atmosphere.

Meh, very, very expensive for what you get. Would 100% go to a different steakhouse for the same quality and cheaper.

Meh it’s overrated and they charge way too much for average food. All the staff was very nice though

Atmosphere and staff was nice. Food was okay. Nothing special and not worth price in my opinion.

I liked the chill atmosphere. The food was good. The side item came out ~5-10mins after the entree/steak. Minus points for that.

In Houston, the restaurant bar is high.

Came 2 times to visit and eat at the bar. The first time my friend complained about her food order, and it was not cooked correctly and lacked flavor. The second time I came with my fiancé and we felt a bit of discrimination from the large male hispanic bartender. He made a very sarcastic joke that did not sit well with us upon arrival.

Small but memorable. They have free valet with little to no street parking. Food was good. Drinks were great. Staff was really cool

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at Patton’s. Best experience we could have asked for. The entire staff exceeded our expectations with everything from the service to the food. They made sure to make our 20th anniversary dinner a night we will always remember.

My wife and I came here for our ninth anniversary. It was absolutely the best meal we’ve ever had. Matthew was a fantastic server/bartender. The cocktails he made, and the friendly conversation was exactly what it needed to be. The steak was out of this world as well as the crabcake and the cheesecake afterwards. 10 out of 10 would recommend… PS get the Caesar salad for an appetizer as well.

From Memphis, we visited this restaurant to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The culinary experience, service, and ambiance were exceptional. The live music was particularly impressive, with the band even dedicating a performance to the birthday guests.

While the signature drink, The PornStar, was unavailable, the overall dining experience was highly satisfactory. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. Should our paths cross again in Houston, we will undoubtedly return.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I had a highly disappointing experience at Patton Steakhouse. We had reservations for 8:45 PM, but our table wasn't ready when we arrived. We ended up sitting at the bar, where the bartender took our drink orders. About 15 minutes later, our table in the bungalow section was finally ready. It then took another 15 minutes for our waiter to take our entire dinner order as no one came to our table and multiple servers walked by us.

The first appetizer, the chicken liver mousse, was completely overpowered by dill. The bone marrow was delicious. They ran out of tomahawk steaks so we both ordered the ribeyes. The steaks were charred for medium rare with visible burnt flakes, and the chimichurri sauce was frankly disgusting—far too watery. We also ordered the under seasoned risotto, duchess potatoes, which were overpowered by rosemary, and finally, the roasted mushrooms, which they initially forgot. When we got our bill, we were charged for asparagus, which we hadn't ordered and had to request be removed.

To make matters worse, we noted on our reservation the we were celebrating our anniversary, and this was never acknowledged. It was clear they don't prioritize the bungalow section over main dining area. Having spent the whole day celebrating our anniversary and arriving at the restaurant starving, this underwhelming experience was particularly frustrating from lack of service to the disgusting food. I wouldn't recommend Patton Steakhouse to anyone. You'd be much better off dining at Mastro's & Steak 48 or even Salt Grass. Trust me. No parking so you have to use the complementary valet.

Patton's is on a different level when thinking about fine dinning in Houston. If you want to impress your date this is the place. It's a restaurant tucked inside another restaurant. You get a true VIP experience. And the food is phenomenal.

Love the concept and the setting of this resturant. The service was lack luster. Once we were seated we received water and menus immediately. However several members of the wait staff walked past us for about 30-45 mins before we decided to flag someone down. It was 9pm and the restaurant was not busy. I probably will not go again due to the service. I wish I had a positive experience the first time. The bread service was okay. I’m not sure if we should have received more options or what. We had one type of bread and one type of butter. The potato’s were dry. Didn’t really compliment the meal well.
However, the steak was melt in your mouth delicious. And my husband enjoyed the red snapper.

Patton’s was a nice vibe. Our server was kind and did a great job. Most of the food was fantastic. Steaks were cooked perfectly. We got the mushrooms as a side and it was lacking. We had seen the beef tartare on the menu prior to coming and were disappointed to find out that it was no longer available. Husband mentions that while his old fashioned was spectacular, the pain killer fell short. I personally enjoyed my French 75.
