Amazing vibes, coffee is great. PSA: Their chimichurri is hands down the best I’ve ever had, got legitimate goosebumps. Owner is super great guy, overall great experience definitely coming back.

Pavon Coffee Den is such a cozy spot — warm vibes, great coffee, and genuinely kind people. AR is always incredibly hospitable and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Every visit feels relaxing, and the drinks are always on point. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or sitting for a bit, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend if you want good coffee and good energy!

One of the best coffee places in Houston. And yes, it's better than Common Bond! The pastries are also perfection and the service was so accommodating. 10/10 recommend.

I really love Pavon - coffee is great, their staff is kind and their food is good too! It’s a wonderful coffee stop and it’s worth the price. That said, the atmosphere when I’ve been going lately has really killed the experience. It’s a beautiful place to spend time and chat over a coffee but you can’t presently do that because every table is taken by a single person with a laptop, with their headphones on and it’s a fight to getting a seat (last time I was there, literally as I was setting my stuff down, a man ran and sat down in my seat - that’s a him problem but unfortunately it happened there). Will definitely continue to come to Pavon, but overall wish it was more coffee shop than rice university study hall.

Loved the ube latte. If you get the empanada, make sure to get the chimichurri sauce with it! They have dog-friendly outdoor seating if you're looking for something quieter.

This used to be my go to coffee spot. This morning, ordered two pumpkin spice latte and a drip. Once I noticed the coffee wasn’t labeled I pulled over to taste it. And it was two regular latte NOT pumpkin spice latte. We drive back and the barista says the order wasn’t taken correctly and the ticket only said regular latte. They remade the lattes and they both were still not good. Idk if they did this on purpose but it’s unfortunate because this used to be a place I would suggest ppl to go try. And now I’m gonna take a break from going. I’m disappointed in the service.

The coffee is good and the atmosphere is fantastic. But the food is really poor. Their breakfast burritos have an intense store bought tortilla taste which is bad enough that I stopped eating mine. And on another visit I tried their Caprese sandwich and the focaccia bread they use is absurdly thick for a sandwich. Comically thick even. If a person attempted in earnest to eat that sandwich they would end up eating like a pound of bread. Not too mention the bread itself came out cold like the bread is kept in the fridge before it is served. Normally that's fine but given how thick and dense the bread already was the fact that it was also not fresh made it inedible.
Just stick to the coffee and don't waste your money on the food.

I am consistently blown away by the lively atmosphere, food/pastries, outstanding coffee and excellent customer service, which has made me a repeat customer. It is a good place for working, chatting, or relaxing.

This is the best coffee shop on the planet. I visited Houston in January and I still think of how perfect the vibe is.

I didn’t order coffee, but this seasonal tea while I had a cold.

$8 for tea? A tea bag in hot water. $8. You better be paying for employees healthcare and dental, but I know businesses don't. I loved the shop, and it was fairly busy with students and a lovely study vibe, but holy cow the prices are insane. Can't justify coming back. Also parking was rough.

You all HAVE to get the pumpkin matcha latte!! It was delicious. I also got the iced pumpkin creama latte with an almond croissant. Definitely will be returning.
