The past 3 times, and only times, I’ve been there it’s been within the first hour of them opening and every time I’ve been served day old or more donuts. The hope I may get a fresh maple bacon donut is the only reason I keep trying but I’m done after this time. Service is always friendly and timely but that’s ridiculous to have old donuts on the regular. I got 2 maple bacon, 1 maple iced with cinnamon sugar, and an apple fritter and they were all from at least the day before. Will not be giving them anymore chances.

This is more than a donut shop. Great breakfast food from eggs, meats, waffles, and pancakes. They also have great coffees, frappe, and the famous kalache breads.

Peña’s was the closest breakfast spot to us. Peña’s might be the spot for doughnuts (which we didn’t buy any). We had chicken and waffles, pancakes, bacon, and hash browns. The food was average and the Latte was extremely sweet.

I have been meaning to try this place since it opened and just got around to doing so. I was pretty disappointed. The staff was friendly, and it was mostly clean, but it could have been a little more clean. Both of us were disappointed with the food. I had the chicken and waffles, and felt like the components were heated up from frozen. I can easily do that at home for far less. My brunch companion had biscuits and gravy and a side of bacon. They did not like any of it. I tried some of the bacon and it tasted like it cooled down sitting in grease. The coffee was ok. If I do come back, it'll just be for donuts. Those did look good, but sadly neither of us had any this time.

I haven’t been here in years, so I went for the convenience of a drive thru.. the donut holes I got looked & felt like they were from last week. Picture will do it justice….strawberry iced also tasted old, was very dry & semi hard. Tasted just like the ones from the HEB bakery sitting in the cases for days. The sausage & cheese kolache was good/normal. But definitely won’t be coming back for anything else.
