Fulldistance Going

The service is fast and friendly. It is a small casual restaurant with a South Indian flavor although North Indian food is offered. But if you are a foodie who has a soft corner for North Indian food then you might not get your money’s worth. But over all decent food with the spice heat level slight high for mild. The Malabar parotta was real nice as were the naans. Their chai was perfect. Yes, give this spot a try ….PS: Dahi chaat papri…is a South Indian touch.

Disappointing Food Experience – Twice in a Row!

We’ve visited this restaurant twice now, hoping for a better experience the second time, but unfortunately it fell short both times. During our latest visit, we ordered Chettinad Paneer and Chilly Potatoes, along with naan—and the food quality was far from satisfactory.

The naan was undercooked, to the point where we could actually taste the raw dough. The Chettinad Paneer also missed the mark, with the masala and spice paste noticeably undercooked, leaving a harsh, unfinished flavor. These issues made the overall meal quite disappointing and difficult to enjoy.

While we genuinely wanted to like this place, the repeated problems with basic preparation make it hard to recommend. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and focuses on improving the consistency and quality of their dishes.

One of the worst experiences ever!

We wanted to try a new place for my wife’s birthday, this seemed to have high ratings and even though it was a bit of a drive we thought we will give it a try. Worst decision ever! This place is not worthy of a regular meal let alone an occasion.

Food is meh and service was horrible. As soon as I entered I knew we made a mistake, should have trusted my instincts and turned back then. Place had no energy and the server seemed annoyed seeing another guest arrive. Peacock is my favorite bird but even with the name I don’t recall seeing any peacock related decor.

Only provided one menu, water bottles slammed on the table, after we procured additional menus ourselves none were removed after ordering. A dish which claimed to be chefs special and takes 20-25 minutes to prepare came out first in around 10 minutes and tasted horrible.

My wife got the wrong item served which was corrected on pointing out but it was so obvious that it was wrong not sure how kitchen and server both missed it.

Everyone hated the food and we got most of it as leftovers but I think it will get thrown out. Mid meal kids wanted to leave the place and go to Chipotle nearby!

There were other issues and I can keep going on but I have already wasted a lot of my time and words on this place.

I never leave reviews, no matter how bad the food is, but this meal was terrible. The masala corn was extremely oily, overly salty, and had crumbs of flour in it. The Vijayawada biryani had a strange artificial citrus taste, like it was made with store bought masalas and oddly flavored chicken. The dum biryani had no aroma, no flavor, and absolutely no “dum.” Everything was either too salty or completely bland. I’m genuinely confused how this place has a 4.7 rating! easily the worst meal I’ve had in a long time. Don’t get misled by rating like I did.

Pleasantly surprised!!!! The food is fantastic. We usually drive across town for Indian, because we hadn't found anything on the west side that was good. This is excellent. Great food and great service. We will come back.

We ordered today Vijayawada chicken biryani and Mirapa Kodi starter for dinner the food was really bad. They just added same chicken 65 pieces in the Mirapakodi and Biryani rice and gave it to us. For the Mirapakodi starter they added the gravy part down and just gave the chicken 65 pieces on the top. The food is not at all spicy it’s like mixing the starter in white rice…we couldn’t eat it anything from the order we just trashed it into the trash bin.

When we call the restaurant and explained the situation of the food. The person just simply said sorry and next time we will check but what about the price that we spent on the food for today is it the way you react? The person is like ok we should say sorry so that they will cut the call and let go of the situation. Very Very bad experience with the peacock Indian restaurant. Unable to upload the video of the food putting in the trash so adding the photo below and the Raita (curd) they gave with biryani is like very worst.
