Owner is a very mean person, she will assume you have a fake ID AND fake tickets, and will not listen to you, not care if you show your receipt, show your bank account or anything, she can cut your wristbands off and waste your time and money. Go somewhere you can feel welcome, stay safe! Also be weary of the crowd, people are be very confrontational.

As a queer woman, this is one of the only truly safe spaces I have in Houston. It’s one of the reasons I have been able to embrace myself for the first time! The vibes are always amazing especially because of their DJ’s and the staff is so kind. Drinks are very reasonably priced, a lot of them under $10. We are so lucky to have Pearl!

Pearl bar was cool but kind of dead even at 11pm. I really liked the decorations for the outdoor patio, and at 10pm, you can access the next door bar’s (Side Peace) outdoor patio which is a lot quieter with a lot of greenery. The bouncer was really nice :)
