Best vegan Chinese food I have ever had!

The food was delicious and very fresh. Service was very fast and very friendly. Because it was my first time, I didn’t know what to order. I opted for the fritters, fried rice and was offered pepper strands. Everything was absolutely delicious! I will definitely return when I’m in Houston again.

Yum! The staff was super sure nice. The food was not too expensive and super yummy. They give you a lot of food too. I had leftovers. So good.

We've had several of their dishes, and I think my absolute favorites are the crispy vegan chicken app, the general chicken (layered bean curd), and the sweet and sour fish sticks. If you're craving something "meaty" and vegan, their dishes hit the spot every time. Everyone here is so nice! They're currently taking online & pick up orders.

Pepper Tree was recommended to my wife and I as we were traveling back home and had to drive through Houston. We went and was blown away by the kindness of the owners! And YES the food was AMAZING!!!! We will definitely make this our stop WHENEVER we are going through Houston. Definitely worth it!!

I've been going since I was 2 .amazing service family owned and vegan. I recommend the veggie nuggets for starters but It's an all you can eat buffer on most days of the week.for dessert I recommend the coconut gelatin or the red bean balls with chocolate dipping sauce.also don't get more than you can eat it's a family owned restaurant and they don't like wasting food.

Got the duck, egg rolls, curry vegetables, and General Tso’s for takeout tonight. Such amazing service and food. All amazing food at a great price!

Drove in for a family wedding this weekend and stopped by. My boyfriend and I asked about a food item and the staff was so accommodating and were able to make it for us. Food is incredibly delicious and the staff is so friendly! We stop by every time we drive to Houston from San Antonio. :)

Pepper Tree has great vegan options. The soup is tasty and the combination plates are delicious.

One of the cheaper spots to get food in Houston. Everything on the menu here is vegan and their lunch buffet is always well stocked and fresh. It doesn't look like or taste like they let their food sit out for hours. I am not a big fan of imitation meat in general so I stick to their vegetable and tofu dishes which are simply delicious.

I love Chinese buffet and since I had gone plant based my options were limited. Here I can have everything and it’s delicious. I highly recommend this place. I love it.
