I love this Pepper Twins on Kirby and SW Freeway. The location is perfect and plenty of parking here. Food was so delicious. I will bring friends over.

My favorite Szechuan restaurant in Houston. I love the flavors and spices. I highly recommend this place.

Great service, very attentive. Delicious food. I love the szechuan peppers!! The chili oil boiled beef is so good, LOTS of beef and veggies. A huge portion and a great price!

We went to Pepper Twins hoping for a reliable gluten-free experience, since the restaurant is touted as knowledgeable about GF dining. Unfortunately, our waitress almost served gluten to a friend with celiac twice, and it was clear she wasn’t fully confident about what was safe for him to eat. I was also hoping they’d have GF soy sauce, but sadly they didn’t.
The food itself was good, and portion sizes were generous, but given the risk and lack of GF knowledge, we likely won’t be returning.
Food was hot, we had the chicken fried rice and the combination fried rice, it was so bland some of my rice was still white, also the chili oil was burnt. The service was good but the food was not... I like to go back to places I don't like just to make sure I'll update whenever I go back it'll be a long time though!!!
The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and the service is consistent. While the setting is simple, the real star here is the food. My all-time favorite is the chicken with numbing peppers — perfectly spicy, aromatic, and addictive — paired with their flavorful fried rice. Every bite reminds me why I keep coming back. If you enjoy bold, authentic flavors, Pepper Twins is definitely worth a visit.

Used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant but not anymore because its food quality goes down significantly in terms of flavor and tastes

The dry hot pot and the Dan Dan noodles were the standout items. But everything we had was delicious. Quality ingredients and nothing felt too greasy. Ignore the negative reviews.

I order/go from/to Pepper Twins religiously once a week (no shame lol). Their Sichuan peppercorn dishes are next-level. My husband discovered it kind of by accident and now it’s a weekly ritual for us. We’re obsessed. If you love bold, authentic flavors and aren’t afraid of a little heat, this place will blow your mind. 💥

This is one of my favorite spots in town now! Their food is absolutely amazing, very reasonably priced, and they have very nice service. I fell in love with their Hot & Sour Soup and the Combination Udon.

This restaurant’s menu functions with a 3🌶️ system to indicate spiciness. The wonton soup was way more spicy than one would’ve expected for only being rated 1🌶️i like some heat-houston native that has lived in south Texas (Harlingen and San Antonio) for 10 of my adult years. This felt like i was getting pranked spicy. The honey duck had no skin and is clearly a pre packaged version. The dandan noodles tasted like the identical sauce profile was used as the soup. Everything was under salted. The shumai was obviously frozen and over cooked. The pork soup dumplings were obviously frozen and over cooked. The mongolian beef didn’t get any corn starch before cooking so it wasn’t accurate or acceptable. The ice tea was good. For a $100 lunch we will not return. This place is only viable in a late night pinch in a market unlike Houston’s where late night tastiness is a plenty.
