This location is requires order placement a day in advance. I'm here visiting from SC and wanted to experience an authentic Texas Twinkie. I came on a Sunday and was told that they were closed even though the times online said they were open until 4p. 40 mins of driving waisted!

Rick and his staff were outstanding. They came to our company's place of business and were fast with serving all 53 employees. They even left more than 5 to-go plates and the ribs. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone kept talking about it. Thank you for working with us Rick! We will definitely be booking our catering needs with you again!
Food never disappoints! My mom visits this place about 3 times a week. They know her voice already when she places her to go order. The employees are always very friendly! I’ve gotten a few catering jobs done and recommended them to friends and family. All have been very satisfied. Great food, excellent prices!

I wanted brisket to serve my out of town guest but the restaurant was closed when I arrived. I called the restaurant to see when they would open. We spoke with Big Tony who went way beyond the call of duty.He had one of his guys to meet us and open the restaurant just to fill our order. The brisket was delectable and impressive, but notnearly as impressive as Big RickEven though our contact was by phone only, I could feel the love and the caring spirit that radiated from this man. This world would be a much nicer place if we had more people like Big Rick and the kind gentleman that came to serve us.There are not enough stars in the sky to rate this experienceps: and the price was right ? .

Almost left Houston without having BBQ, glad we didn’t! Right off the main road, no signage so keep your eyes peeled.Had the two of the 3 meat plate and Texas Twinkies ($2 a pop, MUST TRY). 3 of us and we were satisfied with the portions. Tender brisket, sausage was solid, even the damn beans were delicious, and the potato salad fresh.Anthony was hospitable, great guy who competes in BBQ and took care of my family and I.
