We will definitely be back. The food was delicious. I had the ceviche mixto, and my wife had chupe de camarones and fried yuca.

Excellent Lomo saltado and Pollo saltado. Will definitely return. Tender meat, and fast to go service. Was a little pricey, but worth every penny, especially on a weekend night.

The only good thing here were the wings. Why we ordered wings is beyond me, but it was the only thing that actually had good flavor. I thought I played it safe by ordering chicken - because who can mess up chicken? Wellllll for 12 dollars you get tasteless dry chicken with two sides.

The food was great, but the service was not that great. It's a very small place with maybe max six tables and they not busy. We got the Chupe Camarones, Lomo Saltado, ground beef empanadas. I ask for to go containers and if they give us green sauce and more of dipping sauce for the lomo. They brought me the container, but no bag so I had to the back to get it myself. Then the manager told they can't give any additional sauce. How cheap can you be? Also the young server act like he didn't understand our Spanish because my friend and can both can speak Spanish. Becareful they add a 4% fee that I didn't see until already gave thema good tip. ??

Ordered 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. The server was adorably sweet. It's a small establishment, but it can comfortably accommodate 16 people. There is a 4% credit card processing fee that I did not see announced anywhere. The food was cooked well and had good flavor. The portions were more than enough.

Yuca Huancaina: exterior crunch was great. The interior was cooked tmbut it I prefer it when it is softer inside and cruncher on the outside. It was not over salted. It comes with a yellow dipping sauce that was ok. $10.99

Taco tacu: the meat was super tender and well flavored. The veggies were cooked well and still had a little snap to them. The egg was cooked as requested. The rice and refried bean combination is mixed well, seasoned well, and refried well. The Texture and flavor were great overall 5 stars. $24.90

Cameron Saltado: the French fries could have been fried a little longer. The shrimp was fresh and cooked well. The flavor was reminiscent of Asian cuisine. White rice was white rice. $19.71

Tax: $4.59
4% credit card fee: $2.22

Would recommend. No wait on a weekend lunch hour. 4% discount if paid in cash advertised on receipt.

Ordered via Door dash and first time. The food is good and not bland like the other comments. I bought here because i miss the lomo saltado i ate when i travelled to Peru and hiked the Machu picchu. Sadly their food is very expensive and the empanada is just one piece. The plantains at more than $8?? Nope. One time is good enough.

A large group from our church showed up to Peru Gourmet with over 30 people. Their staff was amazing and served our group amazingly. We had multiple split checks and ordered a lot of food. They were kind, gracious, and attentive, and the food was spectacular. The best Peruvian food in Houston.

It was ugly, expensive and the food lacked salt, little dad had the grilled chicken and the ceviche at all, the waiter was very attentive but the food had nothing to do with it.
