I went during happy hour, which is no longer happy hour. I only wanted the banana foster dessert and it was amazing!!!! I can tell at night it would be a laid back atmosphere. Will be back for dinner!
The 2 bartenders on the night of my birthday went above and beyond to make me feel extra special. I didn’t say anything to them but since I had a gift bag they asked me and made me feel loved. It’s people like them the reason we love Eddie V’s.
We went on a Saturday night and they had live music, which was very loud. Like, you couldn’t have a conversation loud. If you like this, it’s great. If you don’t, avoid the live music evenings! The food is always good there. Nice wine menu. Ambience is nice for a date night. Bartenders make a great cocktail too!
Wife & I go there about once a month all year long. Most of the time it is for one of their happy hour deals on a Friday at the end of the day. THe prices are right in line with other happy hour places, but their food goodies are exceptional. When we feel the $$$ urge we will do the full dinner. Expensive, but worth it in this care.
A great place to socialize in their lounge or have a great meal in the restaurant. We have had several functions there and are always impressed. in fact I was married there!
I have eaten at the Eddie V's in Austin and only hoping that this one would be as good as that one. To my delight, the atmosphere was better, the steak just and wonderful and the service even better.
The food was great! The atmosphere was relaxing. We have never received service like our waiter, Lamarion White, provided. He was attentive and met our needs without our asking. We were celebrating a birthday and he brought two deserts for the table. We wanted a table in the bar to hear some jazz after dinner and he arranged it, bringing our desert to the bar. We felt as if we were his only customers and his highest priority. We will be back and ask for his table.
My filet was very tasty albeit under cooked. I'm not a fan of sharing the side dishes with the table (we had a large party and not enough sides to go completely around). I'm glad I wasn't stuck with the bill!
First I would like to say that the service was one of the best I ever had. The food was prepared as I ordered. The food was fresh and tasty. We go atleast once a month.
First and foremost, we have to compliment our waiter Lamarion who left no stone unturned in making sure we had a great experience. Calamari appetizer, crab and corn chowder, entrees of scallops and a special of shrimp were all big hits. My Branzino was a little overcooked but that was a minor hiccup in the overall meal. Highly recommend for an occasion when price is not the object.
