I came here with the wife, and this place has a great menu, great customer service, and talkative. One coy I've picked up at Vietnamese restaurants is no one ever asks how the food was. In general, everything has a feel for it. Good food warrants good service. And this place delivers both! ?We tried the Spicy Oxtail and regular Beef Pho. Both were really good. This place just made it to my top 5 in all of Houston. Will Update as I return to try rest of their menu. This place is colorful, clean looking, and Boba drinks!

I’ve been a long time customer of this place (5+ years) and I love it. Vietnamese food is very healthy and it’s what I eat to stay in shape. I’m an Energy Consultant and a Yoga teacher - so I need all the positive and healing and healthy energy I can get from my food!!! They have pho for all your friends here- vegans, vegetarians and omnivores. Nice ambiance with soft Vietnamese music in the back ground and big beautiful pictures of Vietnam - very immersive with their culture. Thank you Pho Basil for being the best!!!

Best Pho, I’ve ever had!!! The staff is friendly and polite. This is also my new favorite spot for smoothies. They use fresh fruit and everything is authentic. No extra additives . Me and my bundle are very satisfied.

That was one good vegetable pho. I’ve never had such clean and simple vegetable pho ever, until I came here. Hands down the best pho I’ve had in my life. The pho was super fresh and healthy.

AMAZING little restaurant on Eldridge! My favorite pho place was sold to a new owner and the quality really went down hill, I am SOOOO happy I found Pho Basil!! Kind owners/staff, great food and amazingly reasonable prices. I eat here at least once a week!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pho made with vegetarian broth!!! Which is not common (usually they are made with bone broth anyways!) as well as vegetarian spring and egg rolls!

I was getting Starbucks but was also quite hungry but don't want to eat any American food and I saw this two doors down. It's a small restaurant but very clean. The service was great as well. The food is great and big portions too. I'll be back when I crave for vietnamese food next

Pork vermicelli are my favorite dish here. Better than in any other place where I have ordered this dish.Cucumbers are fresh and crunchy, sprouts and carrots fresh. Noodles are perfect texture and temperature. The pork is so flavorfull. It is a treat to enjoy.Very tasty and good service.

My sister and I had the fried egg rolls and only 1 slice of lettuce served. Also had beef spring rolls and the beef was tough. The peanut sauce was different. We decided to leave after having the appetizers.

Love this place! Reminds me of the food back home, in DC. When I return to Houston I will come eat here again.

Got the beef broth pho and it was delicious l! Went with round eye steak & fatty brisket. Did not disappoint! Chili paste gave it a nice kick too! Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for a good spot.

Our order consisted of the grilled chicken spring rolls, white meat chicken pho, combination pho, 2 sides of fried rice and 2 delicious lemonades (almost 5 dollars for a small size tho) our total was $45. The chicken in the pho was skinless breast, which I prefer. The restaurant is cute, clean and quiet. They were playing soothing piano music and had the Astros game quietly on the screens, which was great! The service was great, very attentive waiter. Perfect for the cold rainy night that it is, would def come here again!

Best flavored pho I have tried in town. Pho is served with a spring roll and soft drink. Affordable price. Recommended.

This place was absolutely disgusting. They had a severe pest problem. Whenever the food came out, my partner and I were swarmed by gnats. We had to wave our hands in the air to keep the gnats from landing in our food. There was at least a dozen of them hovering around us while we ate. It was extremely unappetizing , having to fight off bugs with one hand while eating with the other. We ended up packing our food to-go and leaving.
