Quick lunch! Pho is my number one food! Lately this place had been my number one! Imperial rolls and combination Pho(sans tripe) is it! Atmosphere is easy unless theres large parties. Service is prompt and very effective.

Food is good but a bit inconsistent. I’ve had egg rolls frozen in the middle and shrimp that wasn’t very good. I’ve recently moved the Vietnamese restaurant I go to because of it.

Tried this place for the first time, and overall, it was a good experience. The location is convenient, close to home, and the pricing is generally fair—though some items are a bit higher than what we're used to. The service was above average; the staff was attentive and checked in often, which is pretty standard for Houston.

As for the food, my son ordered the pho, and I tried a bit of it. The broth was clean and well-flavored, with a generous portion of herbs and veggies. I had a broken rice dish with pork—it was good, but not outstanding. My wife ordered the pan-fried big fat rice noodles with beef, which she and my daughter really enjoyed. I gave it a try as well and could see why. The beef was well-marinated, and they certainly didn’t skimp on it, unlike many other places. The sauce was delicious.

Overall, it was an above-average experience with good food. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. My only concern is that restaurants with extensive menus sometimes struggle to perfect any one dish. Hopefully, we’ll find the items they truly excel at.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade+ and it’s my go to for Vietnamese in NW Houston.
Service is always friendly and quick; the food is fresh, delicious and consistent.

The MUST order dish … the Chả Giò (fried egg rolls). Made the old school way with a rice paper (bánh tráng) wrapper, containing a wonderful, addictive & balanced filling showcased in a crispy, blistered exterior - just phenomenal! Comes with a plate full of fresh green leaf lettuce, pickled carrots, cucumber slivers and cilantro sprigs… just be careful biting into these when they come out because they are nuclear hot (temp) on the inside.

And because I’m also addicted to the Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls (Gỏi Cuốn), I get these every time also. Loaded with shrimp, strips of pork, lettuce and the good kind of vermicelli, these offer a great flavor combo and chewiness satisfaction.

Entree wise, I usually go for the Pho or a hot vermicelli dish. The Pho here is great - hearty, plentiful and overall delicious. The broth stands on its own; well-developed and a great balance of flavors.. it’d be a shame to douse it with sriracha and hoisin. Another generous fresh plate of veggies is coupled with your bowl of Pho to accentuate and elevate your experience - bean sprouts, jalapenos, cilantro, thai basil and a wedge of lime.

Please visit Pho Thanh Long!

I’ve been coming here for years and didn’t realize I had never done a review on this place. Just the fact that I’ve been coming here for years says something since I’m pretty picky about where I eat. I love to come here for pho. It’s so well done, and the service is always great. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

The absolute best fried Vietnamese egg rolls ever. Pho, Bun, all of it is the best I have had. But the egg rolls are to die for.
