Ordered on Grub Hub. I got to the restaurant and they didn't have my order. I waited 43 minutes for my food and couldn't cancel because I paid thru Grub Hub. The Pier 77 Fried Rice had 5 Shrimp and there was nothing exceptional about the food at all. There were more onions than actual seafood or meat.Customer Service ... no one apologized for the inconvenience or even offered me a drink while I waited. The IG influencer that recommended this place has not had great crawfish if this is good to him. Won't ever go back. The rice had no flavor.

Food reviews are tricky because when someone says the food is great, you always wonder, but what is "great or mind blowingly good to them before you go to a new restaurant. If the food is just ok but not all that, you really wonder about the cooking skills of the promoter. Maybe they can't cook, so food that's good is WOW to them. Pier 77 was one of those places for me.The food is ok. But not WOW! Like the ticktok reviewer, Anthony WU wanted you to believe. They made his special because he was a tictok influencer. We will never get what he got. Anyone who is curious should save their money up and go at least once to judge for themselves.Staff are friendly, helpful and very curtious. Unfortunately, while the food was okay to good...for some. Everyone will want to know if it was $72.00 good for the two entrees I had. For me, the answer is no.I and my friends orded the biggest seafood bag. with one king crab leg, a cluster of snow crab legs, 8 very large shrinp 1 half ear of corn and 1 small potato floating in a garlicy sauce. Restaurant or back yard, I'm accustomed to a sprinkle of seasoning over the seafood before it comes to you. Having liquid seasoning is good, but because it's liquid, it doesn't stay on as well as the liquid with the sprinkle to seal the deal. I got the mild, which still had heat but didn't live up to what many would call WOW. The crab legs were overcooked and extremely shrunken compared to the shell. They advertise king crab legs, but you only get one king crab leg, the rest was one puney snow crab cluster. There was also no proper cracking tools for the king crab leg. The food was piping hot all the way though dinner. Silverware was scarce too. At our table, two recieved plastic wear and I recieved a soup spoon. When we asked for crab pliers, we were told there were none because people keep stealing them. They gave us some medium size scissors. So we carried on with our teeth and hands on the king crab. Next, my fried rice packed with good size shrinp had a garlic gravy on it. It was a very large portion. There was no breath of wok, which is the slight brown scorch given to fried rice, which gives great fried rice its flavor. Because it wasn't true fried rice, the eggs were undercooked and the rice was a bit hard too. The next no-no was the gravy. Wet fried rice was not what I was looking for in fried rice and they don't warn you. It was ok, yet it annoyed me. If you ask for the gravy to be held back, I'm afraid there would not be much flavor.Another red flag I noticed was most people were there because of the tictok post. Yet for a Sunday, it wasn't packed like it should have been. (yes, I asked...as many and as often as I could). Where were all the regulars that blew up tictok to make me and the others run there.All and all the food was okay to good depending on your taste buds, but not $72.00 worth of good. Did I enjoy the experience? Yes, because it was an adventure. . Would I go back again? Hell no. There are other places around town with better seasoned food and slightly lower prices. You will not get too much lower prices because seafood is high at the whole seller. Try it out of curiosity, not the hype because it's not that good.

Believe the hype about this place! Clean and nice inside, delicious signature flavor wings, garlic butter crawfish (spicy) shaking garlic noodles (super garlicky!) and hush puppies were all delicious! The service was quick and easy. Will be coming here next time for more!

We came here today because we saw a video on IG from @theeatingant recommending it. We came in just a few minutes before a rush of people. We had 5 (3 adults, 2 kids). We ordered the Katrina and the Hurricane, bucket of beer and 3 soft drinks. Total was 345.About 20 lbs of seafood plus the potatoes, corn, eggs and sausage. I think they were shocked we were ordering that much because the gal taking our order swore it was too much and we’d be ok with only the one tray. I thought that was very nice because it seemed like she didn’t want us to over order. Not many restaurants will triple check that we’re sure of such a large order.We chose the garlic butter and the citrus at mild. Everything was boiled to perfection and flavor was on point. We ate all of it except 2 corns. Our only “complaint” is that the crawfish could have been cleaned better.I know many people complained of poor service. I think it’s just a lack of workers bc while the service is great at the counter, there is absolutely no service to table once your food is brought out.We would return her for sure!
I didn't have the opportunity to eat. I waited in line for an hour and a half, only to be told at the counter that they were closing at 9:30 and clearing out the restaurant by 9:45. It was 8:56, and she mentioned that my food would take at least 25 minutes. I was hoping to give this restaurant another chance, but the line moved slowly, the tables were dirty, and the staff member at the counter was eating chips. People in line were complaining, making it the worst experience. Despite their Instagram bringing in more customers, they really need to focus on improving their service.

First of all, this was my first time here. We had to stand in a long line. Once we paid, which was 140 for 3 ppl overpriced, I think. We had to wait 45 mins to get served after I complained about the wait. The guys that's bring out the food are not trained, no silverware ,no napkins, or nothing. They don't even come and check on u to see if you need anything. The customer service is horrible. After I complained and said I just wanted my refund since they were out of something. They hurried up and got it together. The money I spent I could have wens 7spices and spent less. The food was okay, but that sweet sauce is not good it should be garlic sauce, not that sweet stuff. That was my first and last time there never again.

After waiting more than an hour and 26 minutes, I still have not received my food. If you can't deliver the product you are selling, and if you cannot set proper expectations for your guests, then you just should not be in business. I have asked no less that 4 people numerous times about the status of my order, and they are all clueless. Definitely not coming back again.
