When I arrived there was a line outside the door. Didn't take long before I was inside.
The food was amazing. These are real Texan pork ribs, good size and tasty. The brisket melted in your mouth. I know that sounds cliche but it is absolutely true.
I love the smell inside and can feel a good atmosphere.
Highly recommend this place when visiting Houston.

5 stars because of the brisket, it was delicious the best I've had, 2 stars for the sausage because it wasn't that good , it was dry, the pork ribs were so good, by the time we get there it was a line that went around the corner but the waiting time was worth it.

This is hands down the best BBQ I all of Texas. Opens at 11:00am and you better be in line. The choices were diverse for meat and sides. Service was fast and friendly. I got pork ribs $66.00 dollars but we'll worth if your in Houston, Don't pass on this one.

Very disappointed to come from Philly to give this place a try and to my dismay they were sold out upon arrival at 7pm on a Friday. While my family and I sat trying to find another great place I seen about 50+ ppl come and leave due not being able to meet client demands. This is not a great as a business aspect.
They have some of the best barbecue in town. Everything was so delicious, would definitely coming back. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Amazing BBQ. Beef Ribs were cooked and seasoned very well. The beef was fall off the bone cooked but not to soft for a good chew. Very moist through every bite. The brisket (wet) was also cooked very well. Perfect pull apart and perfect bend. Also very moist and very well flavored crust that was crisp everywhere it was supposed to be. The pork ribs (wet) were also very well cooked. Great smoke ring and fell off the bone nicely. Moist taste and great rub and sauce. The jalapeño rice side was very good, not too spicy but enough to know the jalapeños were in there. And to top it off the blueberry crumble crust pie was amazing. Would highly recommend this BBQ!

I was in town briefly and wanted to get some Texas BBQ more than anything else. It would've felt like a failure to visit Houston without getting BBQ.
Pinkerton's had great reviews and was close to my hotel.
I was a bit confused walking in to the restaurant and had to be guided to where and how to order.
You order by weight, which feels deceptively confusing. 1/4 lb of pork ribs was ONE rib. They were delicious, and fell off the bone.
The slice of brisket I got was well seasoned, but drier than I would've preferred.
The recommended bacon mac & cheese was creamy and delicious, as was the Texas BBQ beans.
Overall, I was a little disappointed with the experience. For a $50 dinner, I was still hungry when I left. The food was fine, but nothing mind-blowing. I think it was made worse because I had to Uber there and back, making the night close to $100 (not the fault of the restaurant).

First time visiting San Antonio, Texas and I had to try some BBQ. Best BBQ I’ve had in my entire life. It was so moist and juicy. Had the brisket and pork ribs with potato salad, jambalaya and beans. Jambalaya was okay and I didn’t try the beans but my family liked it. Expect to spend $$$$ because it’s not cheap. I recommend splitting it with your family.

My first and last time. This place is over hyped. I didn’t like any of my food. The potato salad was dry didn’t have enough mayo and the brisket just tasted like smoke with slot of fat on it and the beans was cold.

The food delicious....absolutely recommend for barbecue connoisseurs. Be prepared for a wait; however, worth waiting for. The manager (Jay) is a gem and other team members are extremely nice. Highly recommend!
