I'm genuinely curious. How do you manage to go out of business selling pizza next to a college?I'm assuming the lease rates were crazy.

SET ASIDE EVERYTHING ELSE, it was around the summer Pink's Pizza has made one major change - thickness of the pizza (or amount of the dough it uses). Prior to the summer, the thickness was reasonable. However, sometime in June or July, a regularly ordered pizza became a thin crust pizza. One of the reasons my family and I really liked it was because of its chewiness (plus, each slice did not fall apart because it used to be reasonably thick to hold toppings). We tried 16" whole pizza twice after the change (to make sure if it really has changed) and, the price being another factor, decided not to order from Pink's Pizza anymore. IT IS STILL NOT A BAD PIZZA but it no longer appeals to us in its current form.

Unfortunately, pinks pizza at UH has gone severely downhill over time. Pizza quality has notably dropped since I had first gone, management seems to care less for customers, ridiculously long wait times for a single slice of pizza (30+ minutes), and a consistently unclean environment.Honestly, you could get better pizza and more bang from your buck by going to even a pizza chain like Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, etc.I strongly advise against going unless you're blinded by nostalgia, have absolutely no other option to dine at, or simply enjoy cardboard pizza with a pinch of sauce and the stingiest amount of cheese you'll ever see in your life.

It's a classic tasting pizza. Reminds me of pizza from when I was a kid. I'd have it again! I thought the bacon cheese sticks were actually going to be cheese sticks but it was very good. Their ranch is superb!!!!

The food is amazing! Honestly, the best pizza you can get on/near campus without needing to drive. I wish the service was a bit faster, but I can't really complain too much since I was always given a good pie

The customer service here was fantastic and sincere, a true rarity after lockdowns seem to have killed customer service in general. Two of my guests needed special pizzas, one for a rare dairy allergy, and another for someone with a failing pancreas caused by severe gluten allergy. They both loved their pizzas, which is pretty rare for the one off special needs pizzas. My normal pizza was good too. The specialty pizzas were a bit more expensive, but the rare opportunity for them to enjoy a good pizza was worth it.

Delicious pizza, good atmosphere, great customer service. Probably could have baked the pizza a little longer to get the crust crispy but didn't slow me down much.

If you’re a fan of Houston Brews, Pinks is the place to go! They have a ton of Karbach and St Arnold and 8th wonder on tap. The pizza was delicious and the vibe was nice.
Used to be a huge favorite but probably done now. They have fallen apart. Persistent bad experiences at all locations now, with orders made badly and a host of other problems. Y'all can only skate on your old reputation for so long.
Ordered a few pizzas to go yesterday evening and everything was good! No not good... DELICIOUS!!! My family loved it and we will be back soon !
