I always come to Piola for gnocchi legnano or pizzas. Very authentic Italian style. You wouldn't regret to try yourself.

I’m not sure what changed, but the quality of the pizza has dropped significantly. I placed a to-go order today for three pizzas, including the Rio de Janeiro (chicken with catupiry) and the Bologna (with mortadella). I was honestly surprised by how little chicken and mortadella were on the pizzas. It felt almost misleading when compared to the photos shown on the ordering website. Definitely not cool. I’ve attached pictures so you can see the difference for yourself. Very disappointing.

We went to Piola on Voss on July 18, 2025, at 7:30 PM. The atmosphere had a good vibe — colorful, modern, and welcoming. The restaurant is tucked into the corner of a shopping center, and there was plenty of parking.
The menu was nice to hold — very pretty and well-styled, though the font was a bit crowded. There were many pizzas to choose from. The logo is classic and clean, although one person in our group couldn’t tell what it was supposed to be. The space was clean and tidy. Service was friendly, attentive, and very personable. The restrooms were single-stall (not our favorite), but fine. One diner especially liked the fun yellow tile.
The food: We ordered the Quattro Formaggi, Diavola (spicy pepperoni), Carneveggio (prosciutto, basil, and mozzarella), and Bologna (mortadella, mozzarella, and pistachio). The crust was thin and toasty with the perfect crunch. The sauce was light but flavorful, and the toppings were incredibly fresh and delicious.
As an appetizer, we had the calamari and it was delicate and crispy.
Drinks came quickly and were refreshing. We tried a Caipirinha, Aperol Spritz, Birra Moretti, and a pineapple mint — all delicious. Sodas were canned.
Overall: We really loved this place. The pizzas were authentic and flavorful, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. 9.02/10
