We came for Taco Tuesday to try all the different tacos. This chips and salsa are awesome; it'd be nice if you could order just a refill of the chips. All the tacos we tried were very good, except the Gringo. Skip that one; it's gross. Service was good.

Today between 4:20 PM and approximately 5:30 PM, I visited Pistoleros and sat at the bar where I was served by General Manager Joel.
First, I want to acknowledge that the food was excellent. The kitchen clearly takes pride in the quality of the dishes, and the meal itself was very enjoyable. Compliments to the kitchen staff for delivering such a strong product.
Unfortunately, the service experience was extremely disappointing, especially considering it came from the General Manager.
This was actually my second interaction with Joel, and both experiences have been subpar from a service standpoint. I gave the benefit of the doubt the first time, but today’s experience confirmed a pattern.
After placing my order, my food arrived in about 15 minutes, which was perfectly reasonable. However, once the food was delivered and I finished eating, the service essentially stopped.
Joel never checked back to ask if I needed a refill, another drink, or additional food. Eventually I had to get his attention myself to order another margarita — switching from a skinny margarita to a house margarita.
He acknowledged the request, but approximately 20 minutes passed and the drink was never delivered.
During that time, multiple seats at the bar opened up and Joel continued serving other guests, preparing several drinks — including multiple margaritas for other patrons — while my order remained unfulfilled and he never looked my way again.
At that point, I politely asked for the check. Ironically, I had planned on ordering additional food and another drink, but it became clear that continuing to wait was pointless.
Shortly afterward, another server approached with a very positive, professional attitude and asked how everything was going. When I explained the situation, she handled the checkout promptly and professionally.
The difference in service between her and the General Manager was noticeable.
As someone who values hospitality, it is concerning when the individual responsible for setting the service standard is the one providing the weakest experience. Leadership in a restaurant should set the tone for attentiveness and guest care. One customer wanted to leave a tab with cash, after declining her rightfully so, he chose to speak sarcastically to the entire bar about it I felt as a leader that was very distasteful the time spent being negative my order could’ve been taken.
Because this is now the second disappointing service experience with the same individual, this will most likely be my last time dining at Pistoleros, despite the excellent food coming out of the kitchen.
I hope this feedback reaches ownership or upper management, because the kitchen team is doing a fantastic job, and it would be unfortunate for the guest experience to be undermined by inconsistent front-of-house

The drinks and the nachos!!!! This is a cool and trendy spot with an ample tequila bar. The food was good, the nachos absolutely the best hands down. We got the geound beef ones with all the trimmings. Jason the bartender was super cool and makes a pretty good bloody Mary Mix. We came for tacos but will be back for the nachos!

I was having a great a time until my server accidentally knocked over my trio tray on me and salsa spilt all over me. But had an attitude when i didn’t accept some cards that was trying to offer and i said no and i asked her could she just take it off my tab but she still had an attitude. Not sure what her name was but she was older idk if she was having a bad night but I had every right to be upset or have an attitude. It sucked that she had a horrible attitude about something she did🤷🏽♀️
