The hotel lacked cleanliness from start to finish. It is clear that the staff was not equipped or trained to handle basic customer service. Worst of all was that I was bitten by bugs in the bed. Would not recommend for anyone.
Could not have had any better interaction with any of the staff members. Hotel was exceptionally clean and hotel staff was perfect! Check in was simple and quick. The valet were spot on, professional as well as polite. And don't even think about opening a door for yourself, they are there waiting to assist you by the time you get to it. I was blown away by their customer service, it truly is on another level.
This was my worse stay at a 4 seasons. No water in check in...(its Houston its hot) Then we weren't told were the elevators were to get to your room. We ended up at Top Golf :) ... When we returned from the Beyonce concert no water again...I was told it will be brought up to the room. 30 min later no water. I go down to get some. The lady at the front desk, Loretta gives me attitude. Then the night manger, Anthony, finally gives me warm water . The service in the resturants inside of the property took forever.
I was impressed with the outstanding and interactive customer service from valet, front desk, restaurant and room service. They went out of their way to interact and genuinely make me feel appreciated without false efforts.
The facilities and room quality were not up to usual 4 Seasons brand standards so it was disappointing. We had a cabana pool room and it was musty smelling. However I loved being able to sit close to the pool on our little patio. I would say the hallway and room was more of a Holiday Inn vibe which is unusual for the brand and price point. The pool is very small and dated. However, the front desk staff, concierge, in room dining, and pool bar staff were excellent.
What happened to The Four Seasons? NO MANAGEMENT ON SITE! I asked a Four Seasons employee to kindly transfer me the Manager on Duty. She transferred me to Loretta who represented herself as a front desk clerk. Loretta stated that her "manager" was on site. But was busy with other guests. She finally transferred my call to whom she said was the actual "Manager on Duty". Ramone, who represented himself as a concierge, answered the phone. Ramone indicated that Loretta was HIS SUPERVISOR! And stated that the actual Manager on Duty was on the phone. When I pressed him, Ramone finally admitted that Loretta was the only "manager" at the hotel. What else will they lie about? Do not say that you were not warned. STAY AWAY!!
Had a great experience while staying here for one night. Great location, hotel looks great after a remodel (since I was last there). service was great - ate a late dinner at the lobby bar/rest. excellent service and the bar staff was great - just the right balance of conversation. also ate lunch at Tora Tora the next day. Barkeep Kendrick pointed me to his favorites when asked. unbelievable burger!!!! try the churros for dessert. all in all - will def return to this premier hotel when visiting Houston. also walking distance to great shops/restaurants etc.
The first room that I was assigned I walked in and there was a mildew scent that was so strong no one would be able to sleep in the room. They upgraded me to a new room but had the same problem. I think the vents in this building needs to be cleaned and sanitized.
The Four Season Houston is located downtown close to the baseball and basketball arenas. The onsite dining is wonderful and has a great selection. We had the chance to play golf in the Top Golf virtual golf bays. This was a lot of fun once we got the hang of it and is a cool activity for couples or a group. The pool deck is relaxing and well serviced by staff. The pool is not large, but there is plenty of seating both on loungers or tables near the restaurant. Our room was on the smaller side, but had all of the comfort and amenities you would expect from a Four Seasons stay. Staff were top notch and helpful with everything we needed. Would recommend for anyone visiting Houston or as a nice staycation destination.
Very bad hotel , rude manager named Nick, house keepers leader is rude. Hotel staff in general is rude except for one of female receptionist . Terrible experience . Is not worth to be rated as one star and so expensive for nothing . Rooms are falsely rated as luxury because this hotel and rooms is far from being luxury or even 2 stars

The hotel was okay, not super impressed especially with them being 5-star. My colleague's credit card was stolen (which was later found out, they were trying to purchase cell phones with it), and nothing was done about it. Actually he was offered a free coffee (disgraceful). Additionally, I did not have cold water the last 2 days. I inquired about it and they told me it was fixed; come to find out, it wasn't. Definitely not the 5-star experience I was expecting.
Claire and youself are amazing. Enjoy!
I stayed in an apt onsite that was $$$. I was unable to hold client calls bc of loud construction from another unit. The tenant failed to report scheduled work. I had to keep changing locations which understandably frustrated my client. Four Seasons did nothing to try to make this right. Nothing, not even apologize. They sent me to another floor to take my calls and even there I was told to move. To add consideration of the cost to stay there-- speechless and disgusted. The space is also dated.
Wish I could rate this 3.5*. Love the location, walking distance to the convention center. Sky bridge links the hotel to Houston Center where there is a pharmacy, and where you can grab a quick bite. The room was lovely -- spacious, updated, good amenities, excellent shower pressure, high-quality linens, all the things you'd expect from a Four Seasons. But the service ... ugh. Everyone was so friendly but there were just too many mistakes made. Checkin was fine; our room was not ready for early checkin but they texted me when it was. I picked up my keys and went up to the room, but no bags. Went back downstairs and it was hard to track down a bellman. Eventually found our bags, not the biggest deal. We ate breakfast at Toro Toro each morning (4). Food quality was fine, but one morning, we waited 40 minutes for our food to be served and were almost late for a meeting. On another morning, I saw a customer complaining about his wait, too. One evening, we sat down for drinks at Bayou (we were directed to take any table). We waited over half an hour for a server to approach us, and it was only after we flagged her down because we saw 2 tables that arrived later than us being served. She was great, and comped the first round due to their error, but still a break in service. When I checked out, my American Express credits were not applied so check out took a while. Then, I noticed that someone else's breakfast had been charged to my room. The agent took the charge off, and it was fine. But 2 days later, the charge was reapplied to my Amex. I had to call the hotel and it took about 15 minutes to get the issue sorted out (it was). Again, I'd like to reiterate that all mistakes were corrected in a kind and gracious manner. But the fact that so many mistakes happened in the first place is just not acceptable for a hotel of Four Seasons caliber.
Asked if we wanted to upgrade to a suite - additional cost. The suite was dirty! Dust in every corner. The washroom- pubic hairs on the toilet seat & in the shower. Soap empty, coffee stains- unkept.
