Not sure how this place is still open ? I got a so called burger ? and tacos ? the burger was bland and very small, no love at all in it , the Taco was a little bigger but bland chopped meat of beef sorts, so if you have a car go find a Whataburger or a Taco truck because after ordering you will say dam I should have listened to this dude ??♂️ I was thinking of a big greasy good tasting burger but not happening here, but they must be coming for something else , I was able to stomach a few bites and half of the wet Taco and have the nerve to want cash only ?? if something else is good there please let me know and i may come back , but they definitely need another cook, a brother or sister girl your best bet , but i still see mostly Hispanics pulling up , so loyalty must keep it open , because it definitely is not the food, and the word burger deserves no place in the name of this establishment what so ever, ? i should have known something when the food came out so fast ? and definitely a nuking job is going on completely, sorry about the bad review but you need to do better for a place that stays open 24 hours and this close to downton and popular loving comunity .

The burgers the meat had no taste it tastes like if you were just eating the bread with mayonnaise and veggies what made Papa Burgers so special were the burgers the meat y'all changed it I think y'all guys need to go back to the meat were used before PLEASE CHANGE THE MEAT tacos duros taste like burnt beans no meat they were Nasty I've been coming here since the '70s PLEASE WE WANT OUR Poppa Burger Back!

Affordable good old fashion burgers. I felt like I was back in the 90s eating at a burger diner in corpus christi it has that taste. And did I say it was very affordable and open late. Enough said.

The food is cheap but flavorless not memorable in taste, it's only nostalgic because I grew up in the neighborhood. Definitely a spot for a late night bite. The bad thing is that it's cash only especially in this modern day and age. I hope the owners can realize how important for a business to thrive in modern society with things like square, cash app and debit or credit cards. It's sad to know this establishment may be no more in the near future due to their inability or unwillingness to accept other payment methods. No one carries cash anymore. Every time I've come here I have to stop and get cash and that becomes an inconvenience especially for the after clubbers.Kid-friendliness: Be careful because pleanty vagabonds, homeless and crackheads lurk in the area.
