While the food was ok, the atmosphere and the service provided by Isidro were excellent. We requested and received changed up dishes, like I ordered my appetizer muscles to be served over Pappardelle pasta! Isidro and the kitchen are very accommodating. I wish they had Panna Cotta or Gelato on their desert menu...but overall a sweet place and we will be back!

We enjoyed our dinner here and the service we recieved was great. Insidro, our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. He told us how they would customize the menu items we requested to our preference and they did. My wife had a appetizer portion on mussels with pasta and she enjoyed it. I had cacio d pipe and it was ok but used lots of butter (not a traditional style) and not enough cheese. Our friends had short rib and pork cutlet. The ribs were good and tasty and the pork while tasty was tough and hard to chew. We brought our own wine but they have a good selection there. Our bill was reasonable considering no alchohol and a reasonable corkage fee. I would return to this restaurant but I would order something different. My experience was more of a 4.5 ☆. Oh and the waffle desert is awesome. Thanks Isidro for the suggestion

I went with a group. It was about 16 of us or so. We came in around 5:00 for an early dinner. Some people brought their own wine.
We started with appetizers: Calabrese Crispy Shrimp and Cornflake Calamari. The Calabrese had some andouille sausage.
I’m not a fan of shrimp or calamari. But I think if you like shrimp or calamari, you’ll love these. There was also some andouille sausage in the Calabrese dish. It was yummy.
My main dish was Chicken Parmesan. It was so big. It was so good. I couldn’t eat it all. I saved the rest for later. I tasted my daughter’s Honey, Garlic Pork Tenderloin it was so delicious, I was sad that I didn’t order it. I’m still crying.
For dessert, I had tiramisu. I had only had tiramisu once in my whole entire life. It was while I was in Spain. It was delicious. But… this tiramisu was just okay. I was sad again. I can’t put my finger on what was different.
Our server, Hugo, was really nice and attentive. The owner came by and checked on us; he was very nice. The host was very nice too. Everybody was nice!! We had a good time. When I go back, I’m going to get the pork tenderloin! No more tears.

Everything is always delicious! I always get the balloon bread and rotate on other apps like the meatballs, the fries, salads (they're all amazing), plus sharing a bottle of wine makes for the best experience. Save room for the boozy shake shooters; it's a must!!

Porta'Vino checks every box. Amazing staff and service. Food is totally amazing, fresh ingredients and delicious. We tried a variety of foods on each visit and were not disappointed. This definitely is a must try.
First time dining here definitely not the last! Our waiter Eduardo was fantastic..... We asked him to surprise us with an appetizer as we couldn't decide which to have and he did not disappoint. The food was excellent from starter to dessert.

We celebrated a friend's birthday here - they gave us a private room. The service was top notch. The pasta was THE most amazing pasta I have ever had in my entire life. My friend, who drinks wine, went on and on about the prices on the wine and how a fancy bottle there was cheaper than specs (and how she could leave with the remaining). I can't wait to go back!

The food is AMAZING. We order the meatballs, rigatoni & short ribs and everything was delicious. Our waiter was kind enough to bring extra plates for us to share without asking. The dessert was also perfect. Will be back.

Definitely would not visit this place. Was in the neighborhood needed to use the bathroom and the manager said I needed to be a guest. Lol. For that reason alone never eating or recommending this place. In the great state of Texas it’s all about HOSPITALITY.
