Sat on the patio on a Thursday evening. Service was good, although sometimes slow. We ordered a bottle of wine and food. The food all came out before the wine which was not ideal. The servers allowed us to sample a few wines before settling on a bottle which was nice. Charcuterie board was nothing special. I don’t think they go out of their way to find the highest quality meats. For dinner I had a half panini and half salad. Both were seasonal specials and were really good. The meatballs were decent. Monday and Tuesday board and bottle night for $25 is the best deal. Other than that it’s a happening patio but the food isn’t anything worth coming for.

Nestled in the heart of the lovely Houston Heights, Postino Heights is true neighborhood gem where good vibes come first and great wines a close second.Postino is effortlessly stylish and sophisticated, without being pretentious, or losing it's relaxed setting or sense of casualness. It's the kind of place that makes me look and feel like a cool local, depsite that fact that I'm just some bang-average bloke visiting from New York.The patio deck, located next to the entry, is truly suited to the warm temperate Houston climate and outdoor lifestyle. Bring your mates, bring your dog, and leave your troubles behind. Traffic on the I-10? The state of the ecomony? An incoming hurricane? Just sit out on the deck, order a few cheeky vinos, and stop worrying about things that aren't important.Our group of 3 ordered the bruschetta board, which was fantastic (the proscuitto and fig was our favourite) and a few bottles of Temperanillo and Rioja, which went down an absolute treat. The Spanish wine was a highlight and so was the service.So what more can I say, except that "Postino" can be loosely translated from Italian to English as "The Postman", and when it comes to great wine and fantastic service, this place certainly delivers. Get around it.

Postinos is always amazing, their servers are great and personable. We got two board and bottles and everything we got was so tasty! I live that this place is pretty fancy without the crazy cost, everything is very reasonably priced for the quality and what you get!

The one thing this place is known for is the bruschetta board and they do a good job with it!Outside of that the second best desirable feature is the outdoor patio. This may be One of the best outdoor patios in the heights!The rest of the menu is pretty general.

I’ve been to many Postino locations all over the country and I have to say this location is by far the BEST. The staff here are incredible. So welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. They really made me feel like family from the first interaction. Whatever they got going on is working, keep up the great work!

Paired very well with my wine.Parking: It's basically a street where everybody parks for all the shops. been here twice. the first time was last year with a friend & it was great. decided to come again with my mom since we normally order the food through a third party delivery. i expected the same service as before, but our server with short blonde hair & glasses was completely cold & rude to us. since the straws are paper, i asked for another one & she just throw it on our table & walked away. she never checked up on us before the food came out or after. it seemed like a manager was the one that checked up on us more & made sure we were good or wanted a refill on my wine. our server spent more time talking to other people that seemed like her friends than actually serving us. on a positive note, the food was delicious as always.

The bruschetta board was really good but the reason the 1 star is the very shady tipping practice. Luckily, I kept the receipt and realized the next day but apparently the default tip percentage is based on the pre-discounted amount. This resulted the tip to be more than 50% of the grand total!
